+ -1 moreWow, this was an excellent experience! Bernie returned my first call promptly and came over in a few days to give me an estimate. I was here for all of the painting and he was very tolerant of my continual observation. We got along well and periodically chatted, but he didn't let that interfere with the flow of his work. I changed my mind during the process about paint colors and he coped well with my indecision. He helped me choose the colors that were used and I felt that he used the highest quality paint (Graham from Seven's). He came when he said he would. He was unable to come on one of the days that he had committed to due to a change in his schedule, but he made it a point to make that up by coming for several hours on the weekend and he did check with me to be sure that I was okay with that (which I was). He cleaned up after himself thoroughly. It was clearly evident that he's been doing this for a long time and is very good at painting. It was worth the price I paid!
Description of Work: Bernie painted my kitchen, living/dining room, long hallway, stairway to the basement, front hallway, fireplace brick, study and master bedroom and all of the ceilings of all those rooms. He repaired the bubbled area on one ceiling and the wall cracks in two rooms. He removed all the fixtures (lights, outlets, etc.) so that he could do a thorough painting job around them. He taped all the baseboards, etc. I did move the little stuff out of the way, but Bernie moved all of my furniture as needed so that he could paint. He covered the floors and furniture as needed. He cheerfully fixed or repainted the few very minor flaws that I pointed out.

+ -1 moreFrom design to completion, I was entirely happy with all aspects of this home renovation. Bernie and his crew were polite, in place when they said they were going to be, and dressed appropriately. I was constantly in the loop with any changes that needed to be made, and all work discussed was completed to my satisfaction.
Description of Work: Painted the entire interior of our 5,ooo sq. ft. home. This and many other services were performed in conjunction with Kathy Barry of Home Life Interiors, who designed our make over. Bernie and crew made revisions and added changes to the internal make up our home. The work was precise, and reflective of the pre-discussed monetary arrangements. Timing of the project was executed as promised and completion was well within the agreed upon deadline. The greatest of care was given to the amount of disorder and possible conflict caused within our home, and their daily clean up was impeccable. The ordering of materials was done in such a way, that work flowed in a very steady manner, and yet we weren't with plagued with piles of "stuff" every where. Excellent job!

Description of Work: Bernie painted the interior of our house for us when we had it built. We could have used the general contractors recommendation, however we knew the quality of work that Bernie does. I have recommended him to many friends, etc., who have used him as well and they were very satisfied.
