Terrible!!! 1: didn’t tear old roof completely off. 2: all they did was rip a 2x6 on a diagonal and laid the on the roof. Not sure if any old wood is rotting. Many are not on existing roof joist 3: used 7/16” osb and nailed it to sleepers. Leaving very flexible joints 4: roofing material is EPDM rubber roofing. OSB isn’t a recommended substrate and substrate should be screwed according to the manufacturer 5: this material is glued to the substrate. It was installed in freezing weather with light snow. This resulted in only 50% of the roof being adhered and nail heads are already showing through. 6: their solution is to patch all the bad areas. This wouldn’t prevent more nails from coming through and thermal expansion constantly rubbing on the rough surface will result in failure 7: Do not trust them they do not stand behind their work

Not a professional crew. If I were having work done on my house I would never have let them in. They were overpriced. I chose them because they were supposed to be professional not their pricing.

They did what they said they were going to do, completely. They worked through all kinds of weather. They were very easy to work with and stayed in touch with me with any changes to the schedule. They were upfront with when they were coming or if they couldn't come, they notified me in a timely manner. The thing I liked most about them is the salesman came and we set a vision of what I wanted the house to look like and I really feel they cared and helped make the house standout. At the start, I put a down payment and then did not have to pay anything until the job was done.

The roofing work was done very quickly. They showed up when they were expected and worked very hard to get the roof done quicker than we expected. They cleaned up all the debris and nails around the house. The only issues were a pile of leftover materials was left in the yard which we had to call to have picked up and the satellite dish was left off the house which we had to have the dish company re-install. Otherwise the roof looks great and we have had no issues. The gutters were not done at the same time. We did call to find out when the gutter work would be happening. After the gutters were finished, I did find some nails around the outside of the house. The sales process was a bit high pressure and I originally picked the wrong shingle color. I realized this the next day after having some time to think it through and they were able to change the shingle color. The pricing was a bit higher than other quotes we had received. Ultimately we felt the company was motivated to get the work done quickly and they would stand behind the work. Also they offered financing.

They got me financed, so I said - let's do it! They put my roof on while I was at the casino. We got back, and it was all done. It was all cleaned up. I use to do roofing, so I know what it's like.

Very poor communication. We met with the salesman in December and were told we would be put on the priority list because of the situation. After several phone calls over the following weeks they finally came out in February. 3 months later. I don't think that was a priority. By the time they came out there was damage in our shop to the interior roof. If they had just provided some communication this might have been avoided, but each time I called I was told we were in the scheduling department and would be contacted within the next few days, which we never were until I called. I was also told I would be provided pictures of the damage that the last roofer caused and it is now the end of February, and I've called 3 times regarding the pictures and still haven't received anything. I have heard from several other people that they had poor service from Avalon as well, and I won't recommend them or use them again.

It went smoothly and quick. Larry came out initially and gave us the run down on costs and materials. About 2 weeks after the first visit a crew came out and 1 day, started and completed the job. Very professional and trustworthy. We are very satisfied with the work and look of our new roof and gutters.

Company did a Great job , friendly crew, job done on time. Great follow up. Very happy with the color they helped us pick out. Most defiantly would hire again, for any other work. Will recommend to others. Came with a good warranty Good for 40 yrs. Terrific!!.

Fantastic. I got great windows installed at an affordable price. I love them. Avalon provided great service and quality product.

Two story house with two stall detached garage. Roof on single story front porch had collapsed. Avalon rebuilt the front porch roof, replaced the old sheathing throughout and applied new shingles for all areas. I called on Saturday and set up an appointment for Monday afternoon for an estimate. When the normal employee that does the estimates was running late with another job, Larry, the manager came out himself for the meeting. They were able to do the work a week later and were very professional.

Only guys I know that will perform a job this well done with snow still on the roof. Absolutely love these guys and would recommend them to anyone.

Original soffits were two in back and three in front. They were about 5 x 7 inches and small openings which resulted in inadequate air flow and thus I had ice buildup. They cut out the old eaves and replaced with full length soffits. Added additional vents between each rafter. Then a few days later came back and blew in insulation to get the depth up to code. The house is almost 50 years old so the insulation had settled quite a bit. Larry and his crew did a really good job and I'm quite pleased. Enough so that I am also having my 20 year old bay window replaced by them as it leaks. Despite the job consisting of two separate projects, it was quoted as one so I'm only doing one review.

We didn't like the quote, so we didn't use them. Their price were significantly higher than competitors, so we decided to go with a different company. They're very professional and didn't waste my time. Our interaction was good.

I had a leak in the house, got a few estimates. The other companies were not going to be able to do the work right away. They were also cheaper but we thought Avalon had the better materials. The roofing crew was very efficient. They came at about 8am and were done by 1pm, with cleanup and everything. They were a big crew, and they worked safely and professionally.

A tree branch created a whole in the roof. Avalon patched it up.

The bottom of the door was not lining up to the floor, but Avalon fixed that with the new door. The guys all got it done quicker than I thought they they would. We went with Avalon because they did such a good job with our roof before.

Everything went well. We had no problems with Avalon.

Poorly... VERY high pressure sales tactics.

We had a light colored roof and it was starting to get moss. The roof was about 30 or 40 years old. Chris and Lakesha were very nice and very handy. Chai and his crew did fine. They took off almost a foot of snow from the roof. They still got it done in a day. Bill came back to clean up some of the debris that fell into the snow. Bill was very nice and very handy too. We like the color of the new roof because it matches our shutters. My neighbor still can't believe they got it done in one day.

Went well. The crew just kept working and working really hard. Avalon made the whole process very easy.

I was impressed with how fast the work was completed and even more impressed with how clean everything was after they finished.

My roof was replaced months ago and has been leaking in the same spot every time it has rained. They were supposed to tarp the area while the problem was addressed but never did. They were also supposed to do a water test to see where the water was coming in and that too was not done. My roof did not leak before the replacement but now it leaks every time water touches it. I've had 3 separate appointments to fix the problem and each time they try to tell me it's my siding and there's no way it's the roof but as I mentioned I never had any leaks before the replacement. My calls for help seem to be falling on deaf ears. It's become clear to me that I am not a priority. They got their money and put my problems on the back burner.

The crew was efficient, professional and worked as a team. Larry was not pushy, he explained everything in a calm manner and he let me think about my decision. He was also very positive. The roof was 20 years old and losing all of the color so it was time to replace it. The new roof matched the color of the old roof it it looks much better.

Roofing crew was great. I've never seen a crew work so hard. They were on time, worked late, protected our perennials and was very maticulous about the cleanup. The siding was a little delayed but Carlton was a great listener and communicator with what needed to be done. The finished turned out great and I was amazed with how the inside trim of the skylights look. We would definitely recommend Avalon to others.
