I hate salesmen so when we were hunting for a new roof and skylights finding someone to come out that wasn’t all about the sale was difficult. Avalon was the first company to come out that provided solid information and made us feel comfortable about actually having the work done.

They impressed us. They were very upfront with us from the beginning. David who came in to look over our house was very informative, and wanted to help, he was very thorough and explained all the roofing components and process to us. We are most satisfied with how quick they were. They told us it would be two weeks and it was next day. The guys were here bright and early and here till it was done. They came back the next day and cleaned up everything. We were not disappointed with Avalon. They did a fabulous job.

I am so pleased with the service and quality. I noticed a hole in my roof when I went up to my attic to do some electrical work which halted me in my tracks. I rarely go in my attic so it was a shock to see. I called Avalon and was able to schedule an appointment quickly for the same day. David arrived on time and was extremely friendly. He went right to our roof to take measurements and crawled up in our attic to access the damage. He explained everything from the shingle Avalon would use to how they would go about repairing my roof to assure me that I would no longer have to worry. The way David handled himself gave me confidence to trust him. A couple of days passed and I got the phone call that my roof was going to be put on the next day. The crew that arrived early in the morning were extremely professional. The crew leader was very good. He did everything I asked him and keep his crew moving. They were very careful to pick up everything they brought or removed. A guy was even sent to my home after the fact to do a final walk around to make sure everything was done correctly and I was satisfied.

It went great. We recently purchased our home and we had a few windows that would not open which is a huge fire hazard. We also had condensation happening as well on our big backyard window. Avalon missed the first appointment due to taking the number down wrong when we originally called, but we reached out to them and got it corrected and rescheduled. We understand mistakes happen. Jeremy came out and was straight forward and very knowledgeable. He gave us more information about the quality of the windows than other competitors that came in. Avalon was more pricey, but the quality was better than other options we had. We were able to go into their showroom and see the windows which was great. Jeremy took his time with us. He was very laid back and allowed us to make the right decision for us. We did change out mind on the design and changing our contract was fairly easy. Our installers were quick and great. The only drawback would be the smell of the adhesive they used. It was pretty intense, so if you have a sensitive nose make sure you are aware. The windows operate great and look great.

We had cracks in our plaster ceiling and were experiencing leaks at that point and around our chimney. I used to roof and knew we needed someone honest and reliable as I am retired and my days of roofing are over. We wanted a roofer that was easy to get in contact with and local. Chris was very knowledgeable when he came in to give us an estimate. Chris informed us our roof would be installed in about a week and Avalon called us quicker than that to set the install. The day of the install, the crew arrived, and they were highly motivated. They were always moving and working. They were constantly going around our home and cleaning up as they tore off the roof. The crew was friendly and the whole process went smoothly.

Ryan was wonderful. He went over everything with us, showed us a whole picture of our roof which was different than previous companies. Ryan showed us samples and color swatches and allowed us to make our decision. The warranty and price was very good. The install crew was great. They took everything off our back porch to protect our grill and furniture. They were so courteous and friendly. I was impressed they blew off the roof, the gutters, and the yard after they were done. They walked the parameter to gather nails and they didn’t leave a thing. We love our roof.

Excellent. They were very professional, very careful of grounds, did high quality work, and were so fast. We tried to use local roofers, but could not get call backs after numerous tries. So I guess they are too busy. Anyway, we are all set for fall rains now and winter with no worries!! Love them.

Avalon did not fall short of my expectations. I called Avalon after not hearing anything from other companies that I had out to my home for estimates. I called and Avalon came out the next day. The estimator came out and gave me a quote the same day. The quote was higher, but he explained the materials Avalon would use and explained the price. He was very nice, and the guarantee was longer than the prior estimates from other compamies. He wanted a product that would last longer, gave me the sample, and took his time explaining the differences which allowed me to make my decision. The communication before the install was decent. They informed me when the install would start. I did not speak to the installers, but it was done way before I thought it was going to be. It only took one day for the entire roof which was amazing. It looks great. I was so happy they stayed in contact with me.

We had shingles blowing off when it was ever windy. Avalon seems reliable based on research. We wanted a licensed and insured contractor. We called multiple people and some didnt show or didn’t give us quotes. We called Avalon and the next day Eric our estimator came out. He got up on roof and measured. He explained everything and what we could get with different pricing options. Went through the pricing and broke it down. Adam who was scheduling our roof install kept in contact with us which was great. We were here when they started installation and they were fantastic. They put down tarps and started tearing off. They had two guys cleaning up all the way through. They worked their tails off. We were amazed that it only took one 17 hour day to finish the roof as our roof is very large. We can see the difference and hear the difference as there is no sound when we have any wind. We love it and are so happy with working with Avalon on our new roof.

Never received a quote! One guy came to tell me about what I needed to do and he was informative, was going to send a quote but never did. Then another person called with a story about wanting to "save me money" by using a commercial rate because they were working in the area. Made another appointment, received a call that day stating they were not going to make it. Never received another word from them. Sent an email to original contact, no response. Guess they don't want the business.

I have always had a screened in porch at my condo, so my cat could be outside. When I moved to Muskegon from Jackson. I knew my husband and I had to create something for him. He research Avalon on Angie's list and we called them an estimate. Gary came out and was very friendly. He drew out the design and we only had to change it a little. He understood what we wanted and we liked his presentation. The estimate was reasonable so we went Avalon. The install took longer than we expected, but we had some issues with possums living under our deck which had to be relocated, rain outs, or loss of power. We absolutely love the outcome. Here is the cat enjoying it.

Looks sharp. It went smooth. Communication was great. Exactly how I expected it to go. We bought the home and knew the roof had to be done. David came out and gave us options and the price beat the other esitmates we had received. His helpful guidance paired with our realtor's recommendation allowed us to make the decision. The install was one day from start to finish and handled in a very timely manner.

We called Avalon because we are down the street from them, they are in the community, and we read the reviews. We were prepping for the sale of our home and wanted to update our curb appeal. The sales representative came in, they were friendly, personable and knowledgeable, they did not steer us away from what we wanted towards a higher price point. The window and door installers were absolutely great. Stephen was wonderful to work with, super polite and clean up was great. Our negative marks in this review come from the siding installer. We had issues with dented wraps and some of the wraps not passing our home inspection. When paying for a contractor this is not anything I would expect. We love the way the home looks and it has helped us sell the home in 5 days of listing it.

We did the house roof in 2014. Very happy with the work we did then so I called again. Sales person stopped by and the garage roof was falling apart. Jon was really good. He explained the weather proofing layer and shingles. Seemed like a good complete job. The price was good. Avalon called and said we had a Saturday morning open. Danny and the crew arrive, got to work, and were done by noon. Clean up was done very well. We had a party later on in the day. I like the way it looks. Very happy with it.

We knew our roof was old, rotting, and leaking. We contacted Avalon and Eric came out. He measured on the roof and went over everything with us. He broke everything down and showed examples. He knew what he was talking about, went over in detail and made us feel comfortable. Install was good, hard working crew. The only thing was the roof was done prior to the chimney being taken down which damaged part of the roof. The crew had to come back out to fix the damaged shingles, but they did get it right. The crew ran themselves, the main installer was very good. Handled himself professionally. Workmanship was there and we are happy that our home is done.

Terrible communication. They argued with me they were right until I had them came out and proved they didn't complete the garage and they finally admitted they didn't. Had to argue to get what was agreed in the contract. Took months for the partner of the company to call me back to figure it all out and so I finally called him. The finally months later they finished and as I was giving them feedback on how disappointed I was the supervisor argued with me I was wrong in it all. I would never refer them to anyone.

I was extremely impressed. Everything was in a row. It went exactly as they told me it would. Rob came in and showed me some GAF shingles, and explained how the process of how the roof was going to be done. So professional. I had a good feeling about him. The price was a lot of money, but they didn't want corners cut. Felt confident and comfortable with them working on my home which took some of the worry out of the investment. They arrived with a big crew for such a big job. They stayed on it, really really fast. Very professional. So organizationed. No scrap. Very impressed by how they did everything. No one was idle. Increadible teamwork.

We did our research on what we wanted and contacted Avalon to get a quote. Chris came out and showed us samples and colors. The day of install there were more than enough people to complete the job. However, we were shocked they got it done in one day as our roof is rather large. They were on it. Workmanship was spot on. The clean up was amazing. Highly recommend them.

We wanted someone who knew what they were doing. We were experiencing leaks to the breezeway due to poor workmanship and we did not want to experience that again. Avalon logistics were great. Materials were delivered one day, dumpster the next day, and crew the following day for install. They were hard workers and fast. We could not believe how fast they were. We did not go with the cheapest guy, but know from previous experience if it is not done properly it doesn't matter the price. Very respectful. The installers cleaned up unbelievable. They had a magnet to get all the nails. It was spick and span. Would easily recommend.

They were very nice. They've done good work for me. They were always here when they said they would be. They cleaned up after themselves. They were polite.

Salesman would not leave and was high pressured which I did not appreciate. Would not hire this company.

Amazed at how fast it went. Travis was very honest when he did the estimate and told us our roof had a few years left, but we did it now to save later. The crew was polite and worked very hard. They arrived early in the morning and worked till 9pm to finish it in the same day. It took awhile for Avalon to come and get the extra supplies that were left over, but they cleaned up well minus when the dumpster was taken away. Highly recommend them as the product is quality.

It happened faster than I expected. Eric our sales representative listened to what we wanted and showed options with pricing. The installers arrived and were very nice and polite. Love the way the window looks.
