AAA Budget Computer Repair

After I had the computer back, most of my problems were still there and are still there.  However, my printer would not connect to my computer and would not print.  The original cost of the computer repair was $65.00.  After I complained about the printer, he promptly returned and tried to fix the problem in my home.  He did not tell me that he would charge me for this time, until he was leaving and said he needed $25.00. So the total cost was $90.00.  However, he also did not fix the problem and said he did not know what was wrong.  Over the next few months I tried to fix the problem of a lack of my printer myself.  Finally I called a printer tech, which cost me $150.00.  This tech promptly told me that all the problem was was that when the computer got hooked up again in my home, it caused the printer to lock up and all I had to do was unplug the electric cord for a few seconds and replug it. Instantly my computer and printer were again talking!
What this experience has shown me is that you get what you pay for.  There is no such thing as "budget".  There is only true knowledge or the lack of it.  Just because a tech appears to know what he is doing and is nice, does not mean a darn thing.  The tech that fixed my problem came from a large company that backed their work and had true trained techs that knew what they were doing.  Live and learn!!
