A & B Concrete
About us
We are a licensed, bonded and insured company, dealing with most aspects of residential flatwork. This includes concrete flatwork ordained to be 'city' work that requires a permit (City of G.R., Kentwood, Wyoming, etc.) We also do light commercial - style applications Typically, we consist of a four-man crew, using a bobcat and two dumps. This allows us, for instance, to remove and replace a typical driveway in one to two days.

"Thank you very much [Member Name Removed]. We really appreciate it. Hope you’re having a great summer... .Jack"
"Thank you for the kind review we really appreciate it. Jack and the crew at A&B Concrete"
During the initial meeting with him, I inquired about using colored concrete. After a little discussion, he suggested a color. It turned out to be a great choice ... not stark concrete white ... a tone that blends will with the house/surroundings. I've received several compliments over the past year on the color.
For those who are curious as to why I waited a year to write this review, having the concrete poured rather late in the season, I wanted to be sure it lasted through the winter well. It did. There was no heaving or cracking of the concrete. The only damage that occurred from the winter was some scraping of concrete at the skirt from the county snow plow...who was plowing wider than the road.
"Them County snowplowers !!! [Member Name Removed] - We here at A and B Concrete thank you for your review! We're glad you've received several compliments, and that the coloring worked out well for you. Thanks again! ( ps - just a little note about cracks...they certainly can and do happen in our business, especially with winters like we've had the last three years. We've seen the best-layed, 6" thick 5' by 5' sidewalk square unexplainably crack; and then a huge area of driveway, missing several control joints, not crack anywhere! The main thing to avoid is concrete that also excessively heaves or separates after it cracks...which would be a more accurate indicator of an inferior base, etc. )"
"Thanks [member name removed] - call us when you need more ... Jack"
"Hey [member name removed] .. thanks; your comments mean a lot to us...Jack and the crew, A and B Concrete"
The men were on time and very professional. The owner, Jack, solved a problem I was having with my front steps The sidewalk had sunk. This made the steps uneven in height and a real fall hazard. He raised and sloped the sidewalk. This made the steps equal height and much easier to climb. The added benefit was it makes the water flow away from the house which we all know is a good thing. I also had him evaluate my garage walls which were beginning to chip. He said the walls were fine and were still solid. I thought it was very honest of him. The work was done in a few hours and looks great.
"Hi [member name removed]! You forgot to mention the Bees! ( hopefully they're gone ) It was a pleasure working with you and your husband. Thx for everything....Jack"
"Thanks [member name removed]...let us know if you ever need additional concrete work. Sincerely, A and B Concrete"

"[removed member name].... We can't tell you how much it means to us when we see the word "perfect" anywhere in a review! Thanks for your trust in us to do the job while you were across country; your vote of confidence in the matter is much appreciated. It's been a pleasure working for you. Sincerely, A and B Concrete"
"[member name removed] - thanks for the stellar report card! When you provide each customer with a 3 to 5 man crew, it's hard to be the cheapest, but higher quality and efficiency are pretty much a given! ; ) Thanks again .... A and B Concrete."
The smallest job they will do is for $1,200 which is essentially 150 sqft of flat concrete.
"[Removed mbr name]- Thanks; every positive review we get pleases us tremendously ... it let's us know we are giving our customers what they are seeking. We appreciate the work from you -- Sincerely, Jack"
I have a double wide driveway, leading to my two stall garage, plus additional parking for two cars on the side. The driveway was put in when the house was built, in 1975. It was cracked, some areas were un-even, and water had begun to wash out the dirt under part of it. I also wanted part of it extended, for extra parking.
The A and B crew tore out the old concrete, and hauled it away. Then they put down a gravel base, leveled it and packed it down. After putting in the forms, the concrete was poured, and smoothed and finished. Then I got the fun part - watching concrete dry! (Yes, it IS more fun than watching paint dry!) The driveway looks Great! The final price was exactly what they quoted.
The only problem was rain delays, which turned it into a 3 day project, but you can't fight mother-nature...

"Thanks for an excellent review, [member name removed]! And , no, one cannot fight mother nature! But one of our favorite sayings is "all's well that end's well" -- especially with long-term items such as concrete. We appreciate your business. Sincerely, THE CREW at A and B Concrete"
