Sos and his crew were fantastic. They were professional, trustworthy, the work was completed as they said it would be, and they cleaned up after themselves. An added bonus - they were compassionate and caring; it was a pleasure to have them in my home doing their work. How many times could you say that about work being done in your home that disrupts your life? I'll call them first for ANY household project I may have in the future.

I spoke to Jessica, who gave me a quote via texted pictures since they serve Detroit but are based in Grand Rapids. They removed my wet paneling and insulation, applied mold inhibitor spray, bombed the air. They also left fans and dehumidifiers to dry the wet basement materials. They were reasonably-priced, prompt, and so helpful during such a stressful time while dealing with the aftermath of a flooded basement. I was very impressed with their service and highly recommend them.

They promptly came out and assessed the damage. We were impressed because they said they would dry everything out, treat for potential mold, remove the damaged floors, then perform all the necessary repairs. That’s when things went downhill. First, they failed to communicate when they were going to get started and they showed up when we weren’t home. Fortunately a family member was able to come to the house to let them in. They set up fans and a humidifier and cleaned the house to treat for potential mold. They also tore up the damaged floors and cut out the damaged drywall. After several days we called to find out when they were going to pick up their equipment because everything seemed dry. They never came on the day the said they would. Finally we called again and someone came to get their equipment. We were told someone would then call in 1-2 days with an estimate for the repairs to the floor, walls, and ceiling. A week went by and we never heard from anyone. We called twice and we told someone would call us back each time. Finally after 2 weeks we got to talk to a supervisor who then told us it would be 6-8 weeks before they could get us an estimate. He then suggested we call other contractors. We were quite mad at this point because we never would have used them if we knew they wouldn’t finish the job in a reasonable amount of time. We ended up using a different contractor. Several weeks later we called to get a copy of the bill since we had no idea how much their work was going to cost (probably a lot since they were billing our insurance company). We called 4 times over a period of 2 weeks and was told each time someone would call us back. They never once called us back. Finally I got a hold of someone who then informed me the bill isn’t ready because they lost the measurements to our house and they needed to come back out and remeasure. Once they remeasured I was told someone would call me regarding the bill. It took another 3-4 phone calls to finally get them to send the bill to the insurance company. I still have no idea what all this cost because I never received a bill (they said they would email it to me but I still haven’t received it). I’m amazed this company can remain in business with such poor costumer service and lack of follow through. I would say they have the worst costumer service out of any company I have ever dealt with.

Our whole experience was great starting with the person I spoke to on the phone. The technician called ahead and was on time. The two technicians were friendly and professional. They spread out drop clothes at the door and wore booties in the house. They spot treated the carpet and removed spots that I didn't think would come out. They removed alot of dirt from our ducts. Our carpets look like new again. I would definitely use them again.

I purchased the combined duct and carpet cleaning package. I was disappointed that they did not move the furniture when cleaning the carpet unless I specifically asked them to and unfortunately, I did not realize this was the case until they were finishing the last room. They also missed cleaning one of the main ducts in the kitchen. They were friendly, but for the price and time involved, I would have preferred a more thorough cleaning.

Dave did a thorough job in cleaning our ductwork (which had not been cleaned for 20 years - since the house was built). Boy, were they full of stuff! All went well until the final cleaning area of the furnace - then things went very poorly. He accidentally cut too low into our plenum, and put slices into our air conditioning coil. After contacting the home office, he let me know what he had done, and told me about contacting the office, and their offer to repair the damage. Since it was the start of winter, the repair to the A/C would have to be done next spring. Fast forward to May of 2016, and I still had not heard from them. I contacted them, and they sent out a HVAC company to estimate the amount to repair the damage. The repair technician told Guarantee System (GS) that the system could not be repaired (it was an older model with R-22 Freon), and would have to be replaced (not entirely true - you'll see why later), and it would cost approximately $5,000 to replace the system. After hearing nothing back from GS for several weeks, I contacted them again to find out where things stood on repairs. They told me of the estimate (which I thought was very high), and then sent out another employee to determine if a replacement coil could be found. After another week (toward the end of May), I again had to call them to find out the status of the repairs. I was told by them that they could not find an "exact" replacement coil, and they didn't know what to do. I looked on line, and found a coil that would work, and told them I would settle for a check for an "estimated" repair of the system (replacement of the coil, R-22 freon, labor charges) and replace the complete system (since the furnace was 21 years old). The owner of GS really drug his/her feet to approve a settlement for me! It is now June 22, 2016 (and we have had several hot spells), and we have just now settled on an amount (not exactly the amount I was hoping for, but I am really tired of screwing around with this), and am awaiting the check from them to replace the system. GS only offered the minimum amount for the repair, and offered no other goodwill offering for waiting so long for this repair. After I have the new system installed, I will review the company I have perform the work.

From the first phone call to the goodbye after the workers were done, just a very professional experience for me.
Phones calls were pleasant and to the point, received a reminder call the day before the appointment confirming work to be done and start time.
Workers arrived on time and were careful moving equipment in and out of my house. The lead worker went over the needs of my cleaning job while the helper moved equipment in.
Final result looks and feels great, carpet is 15 years old but they made it look nice and clean again.
Ducts are a little harder to judge but no dust storm after they left, so thats a good sign. They did a nice job sealing up the access holes they cut in duct work to do the job, I believe all duct cleaners have to cut access holes if they are doing a good job.
Very happy and will use again.
