Really impressed with this company and their service. Quick estimate, the work was scheduled very quickly, and the guys were quick and efficient.

They were willing and able to do the job that day as we had no hot water. However several months later another contractor noticed that the exhaust was done incorrectly.

We have used Moore Plumbing for several plumbing problems over at least 10 years. We called them this time because our electric water heater had stopped working. Eric responded promptly. He was courteous, friendly, and professional. He determined that the problem was in the electrical system and helped us find an electrician to fix the issue. We would use Moore plumbing again in the future and would recommend them to others.

Came the same day I called to install the water heater. They cleaned up when done. However they did have to return a week later due to a leak in the gas line coupling. Upon calling about the problem they were here within 20 minutes to fix it. My only concern was that I was not given a choice of heaters or an explanation why the installed one was chosen. At the time of installation I needed a replacement heater immediately and was glad they could accommodate me.

I've used Moore for several years at two houses and my business. I've used them for plumbing issues and HVAC. They are punctual, reliable, honest, do great work and affordable. All the good things you want
I recall one instance at my old house (the first time I used them) - I had one company give a quote to replace some old pipes. It was well over $1,000 and he claimed it would require ripping out my dining room ceiling. I called Moore and they did it in a couple hours for $250, only taking a couple of drop ceiling tiles down.

Good, but thought a little pricey.

We were having a new kitchen floor installed and when the floor installers tried to take the washer/dryer out of our laundry room they discovered that the hot/cold faucets were frozen after 20 years.  We also discovered after removing our refrigerator that the water line wasn't working properly.  We called Moore plumbing on a Monday.  They were not able to come out on Monday, but promised to come out first thing in the morning on Tuesday.  We explained that the floor installers couldn't continue doing their job until the faucets were fixed.  Don came out promptly on Tuesday morning.  He cut off the old faucets off and made new ones.  He worked very quickly so the installers could continue their job.  Everything is working well and we were very happy with the job.

After several attempts, we called Moore Plumbing. The plumber came right away and took care of our drain problem.

My husband and I are very happy with them because they are very punctual and very professional. They send out the same guy everytime. The company has different divisions for plumbing and heating and air conditioning. I used them for the heating purpose. If I had used them for plumbing, they would have sent out a different guy. The guy is good. He is very professional, very honest, and very upfront about his work. He does a good job. So, I have continued using this company. He worked on a vent fan in my bathroom. I have a brick home and my husband is very fussy about drilling holes. So, he took it outside. I think he did a beautiful job. He came out early, which my husband loved about him. He charged me $100 for the job. I felt the work was worth more than the price he charged. The job looks great from outside even though he had to break through the brick. I would use this company again in the future.

All of the calls have gone well, except the first (which I'll detail shortly). They've always been punctual and courteous and taken care of the problem. Our one bad experience was the first, but it was taken care of very promptly and professionally, so we weren't hesitant to use Moore again. The man who installed our humidifier apparently did so incorrectly, which resulted in water all over our basement floor ... which resulted in our Pergo warping very badly in one corner of our basement. We called Moore, and Dennis, the owner, came out very promptly to take a look. He agreed that the faulty installation had resulted in the floor warping, and agreed to pay for it to be replaced. The gentleman he had do the job, Matt, did a great job (and we in fact hired him to do our bathroom tile later on). The office staff is also very friendly, and we've always been able to get an appointment quickly whenever we've called.

Our air conditioning went out at the end of last summer. We didn't want to spend the money to get it fixed, but finally broke down. I called Moore Plumbing and Heating because I saw them here. They were a little later than expected, about 40 minutes, but it wasn't a big deal to me (I did leave work early, but I had things to do). The guy they sent was younger than I was expecting, but he did a very professional job and I was impressed. He diagnosed the problem as a capacitor and replaced it, made sure my unit was fully charged (he didn't charge us, financially that is), and he left with a $112 check. I was happy.

I needed an HVAC company to check our HVAC system and appliances for any leaks. Moore plumbing was easy to work with, even after I had to make a last minute change to the appointment they still accomodated without any protest. The 2 employees that came to the house were professionally dressed and acted accordingly throughout the inspection. I also work for a major home improvement center in Lansing and have heard positive comments about Moore plumbing from other customers.

They responded on the same day that I called, even though it was difficult to fit me in the schedule (I could not leave the house due to the danger of flooding). I believed that I needed a new sump pump, and he was prepared to replace it. When he arrived and looked at the pump, he explained that the switch was stuck and that he could reposition it, to avoid the more costly job of pump replacement. I choose not to replace the pump, at that time. At this point, he showed me how to fix it and then proceeded to reposition the pump and switch to avoid a reoccurence. He also explained, how I could by-pass the switch, if the problem happens again. I knew nothing about sump pumps, when he arrived. By the time he left, I felt confident that I could by-pass and/or replace the switch, or even install a new pump, if necessary. This is by far the best plumbing experience I have ever had, and the first plumbing company that has inspired trust. I will call them again with confidence.
