From the first time that I met Ray I felt like I knew him for a really long time. Ray was confident in the work that he was doing but yet very approachable and answered all of questions and concerns appropriately. The team had a good sense of humor and made me feel comfortable, having them in my home when I wasn't there wasn't a problem. Even though something wasn't originally included in the bid/price Ray agreed to do fix a small part on the outside of my door, it was something that I wasn't expecting yet he went above any beyond. As someone who is a new homeowner Ray helped me choose the right door people and has suggested flooring people as well to talk to. The work I had done involved taking out some walls and making the kitchen larger. The drywall into plaster is really remarkable, the whole thing is really remarkable compared to when I bought the house. I will definitely find a way to get Every on another project.

Ray and his crew did an excellent job on my home project. It was not a huge job and I was happy Ray was willing to make time to complete the project. He finished my small basement area with new ceiling, new closet, new windows, and new stairs. Additonally, he enclosed a door and attached a huge murphy bed to the wall for great stability. All jobs out of my DIY expertise. Ray's price was fair and reasonable, he started and completed the job when he said he would and it all looks great! Finally, he was easy to communicate with via phone calls and text messages. I never felt anxious or worried about the work he was doing. I would highly recomment Evert Construction for small and large projects for your home and will call them again.

Ray and his crew was wonderful! They did a great job on my house with the new windows, roof and siding/insulation. He threw in a few extras free of charge too...instead of the 1/2 inch insulation he upgraded and installed 3/4 inch under the siding free of charge. He's also installing my raingutter and exterior lights too free of charge. He is very competitive in his prices and extremely talented in this line of work. I recommend him to anyone who is looking to remodel. He redone my parents house after the 2008 hailstorm and did a wonderful job for them too. They were very pleased.

Ray and the whole Evert Construction team are very professional and do excellent work. They built a new garage for me and I can't say enough good things about the whole process. Ray took care of everything from permits to cleanup, and I could not be happier with the finished product. I will absolutely be calling on Ray and his team for future construction projects that I have in mind, and I highly recommend Evert Construction to anyone who needs work done and done well.

Ray and his team built a much needed new platform to access my shed. I have hired Ray's firm previously for several project as as usual the project was built and completed to perfection. There were a couple of minor issues that came up and once again Ray and his team were not satisfied until every detail was addressed and the results exceeded my high expectations. I highly recommend this Company. Great to do business with.

Ray Evert is very good to work with as he knows what he doing, has a good & very experienced staff, and, best of all, communicates in a manner that sets a standard for other contractors to be compared to.  He always communicated as to when the project would start and the aspects of the job along the way.  Ray is a great construction resource.  The City Inspector commented on how nice a job was done.

Ray and his crew completed our addition on time with exceptional clean up and care of our home. They were very cordial and willing to work with us and answer all questions we had during the process. We would highly recommend Evert Construction and we look forward to them installing our Egress window this summer.

After an ice storm Ray and his crew removed all broken branches and hauled it away. It was a great service and done right away.

It went very well. Ray explained what needed to be done and why. They checked several possible places where a leak could occur and installed flashing to protect against any further leaks. After replacing the siding, they cleaned up the whole area. I was very pleased with the work and their professionalism. I would certainly hire them again.

When the snow started melting, we got a leak again, so I called him and he will be coming back. He put a fix on it last year and we weren't sure if it was going to hold, it didn't, so he is going to have to come back but he did try and do something that was less expensive to begin with rather than saying we have to replace the whole roof right then and we appreciated that. He had told us the fix might not hold up but he said let us try to put a patch on it first before we get the roof replaced. So he was trying to save us thousands of dollars and that was nice of him.

Ray and his crew Installed our deck to our specifications. Helped to keep costs down by exploring other option for materials to make sure we got the quality and the look we wanted. Always on time or early to the work-site. We are very satisfied with the completed project and look forward to many years of use.

Everything was well above expectation! Ray's team started earlier than he originally quoted, which worked out great. His crew worked diligently throughout the days and there was never a point where we had an issue with them, or doubted their judgment. The team works h****** the house, and also does a great job keeping the worksite (our yard) cleaned up. I am a very hands on guy myself, so I like to know what is going on with my home. Ray always explained their findings and either offered to fix it for us, or suggested a way we could fix it down the road. Ray also kept us very involved and his communication with us throughout the project was truly awesome. Every day we would come home not knowing what to expect, and everyday we were happily surprised to see enormous progress on the house. The finished product looks excellent! We immediately had our friends and family over to show off the new additions, and everyone was amazed with the workmanship. Overall, Ray came in and did an amazing job at a reasonable budget and finished earlier than he quoted. We are sincerely pleased with all the time, effort, and patience they have, and will be contacting him this winter to possibly waterproof our basement.

Ray and his crew did an excellent job. We are thrilled with the outcome! People walking by our house - who remember what the old exterior looked like - marvel at how great it looks, and have told us so. It looks like a completely different, new house!
Ray is very personable, and has been a joy to work with. He was prompt to give us a bid, prompt to provide us with revised bids when we changed our mind; he made constructive and creative suggestions that greatly improved the design and appearance of the house, while keeping costs down. He is very accessible and prompt to return phone calls. We also were very pleased with the subcontractors he used for the concrete work, gutter and downspout installation, and stonework.
The stonework on the front of the house is a piece of art! We cannot say enough about the highly-skilled stone mason Ray contracted (Eddie Alex - American Stone Masons). He did beautiful work! He also worked with a great co-worker stone mason named Matt, who helped keep the project on time. It is very labor-intensive to do stack-stone (dry mount), which goes up like a jig-saw puzzle. No two pieces are the same. It was fascinating to watch the process, and the outcome was fantastic!
We highly recommend Evert Construction! We have complete confidence in Ray's ability and integrity. We will call Ray first for any future projects that may come up, and enthusiastically recommend him to all of our friends. .

The project turned out better than we had hoped for. The members of his crew were highly professional craftsmen who paid attention to detail. Ray matched the materials and style of the existing structure, so that the result looks as if it had been designed that way from the beginning. All our interaction regarding the project estimate was with Ray directly, and then he was there not only overseeing the project, but often working alongside his crew of three men. All were very nice guys. We would definitely recommend Evert Construction to our friends and plan to contact them about future projects.

He did a great job. He had it done in the time frame I wanted. I was not home at the time it was built, so we went over everything before I left and when I returned it was completed and I was VERY happy with the project. He did everything he said he would and it looks WONDERFUL! One last thing, he went to get my cedar boards and they had a lot of knots in them, so he rejected them, went some where else and even invested some of his own money in them so I would have a better deck It is very sturdy and has great curb appeal . I 'd recommend Everett Construction to anyone and would use them again if I ever need anything else.

I contacted Ray and once we touched base and decided on a date that would work for us both, he came in and completed the work in a morning. He was wonderful to work with. And the finished product was more than I could hope for and a price that was incredibly reasonable. He was incredibly nice and I felt more than comfortable leaving him and his associate in my home while I went to pick up my son. If I need any general contracting work in the future, I will definitely use his company. It was refreshing to have such a positive experience.

Every Construction provided us a written estimate with licensing information, which only 1 other contractor we contacted provided. Their estimate came in $125.00 less than the closest bid. We had a total of 3 bids. We were impressed that they responded quickly, and once we chose them they were there within the week to begin installation. The installer was a pleasant and friendly young man named Jason Walker. He said he specifically did basement remodeling for Evert. He was fast, efficient, and left no mess. He worked around my husband's basement workshop without having to move anything out of the way, and protected our new washer and dryer, a big concern of mine, which was under 1 window.

We requested an estimate to seal up and repair the skylights above our master bedroom. Ray provided us with an estimate. The Evert Crew was able to fix the problems that caused the skylights to leak, lay down quality materials to prevent further leakage, and discovered that there was no insulation over our master suite in the process. The discovery was made around noon that day and Ray had it insulated before 5 pm including his lunch break. The cost of the job was extremely reasonable, Ray and his crew were extremely professional, and I would not hesitate to call him again for other work on my home.

Ray and his team were a pleasure to work with. They were respectful of my home and cleaned up the work area each day when finished. Working with Ray was like working with a coworker you trust. He provided good advice and helped make important decisions in consultation with me. The bathroom turned out great. The new tile, shower, vanity, lighting and fixtures look great together and the quality of the work put into it is self evident. I highly recommend them.
