When the plumber arrived, he said he couldn't do anything because the work required a bigger auger than he had (apparently he didn't have one big enough for a toilet drain.) He then blamed me for not explaining the situation sufficiently to the person who received my call, and then charged me for the service call.. However, I told the woman I called the diaper was stuck in the toilet drain. Apparently the plumber assumed it was stuck in toilet (in which case he may have had sufficient tools), I didn't say "toilet": I said "toilet drain". No further explanation was requested of me. It seems to me that it is their responsibility to know what the job they are going to entails. Below I am required to rate "professionalism". I gave him a high grade because he explained why he couldn't use a smaller auger for the job.

My garbage disposal had backed up into both sinks and I had plunged it out but was still desperate to get a plumber to look at it as this was not the first time I had problems with it. Mr. Bierman was here within a couple of hours of my call to his office. He had a helper with him. I thought I might have to get a new unit as mine is about 14 years old but Mr. Bierman assured me that although he would love to sell me one I did not need it. Instead he fixed and cleaned my existing disposal, taking time to continually check everything as he went and teaching his helper as well. It now works like new. Throughout the process he explained to me what he was doing and what I could do going forward to keep it running well. He charged $75.00, which I consider a bargain. I had never had Mr. Bierman do plumbing for me before but he is now the only plumber I will use. Great guy, great price, great service!

They were there on time and did the work in a professional manner, at their quoted price. Great service and great advice!

They came when promised and checked everything thoroughly in the shower and in the basement.
Also fixed the drips in both the bathroom and kitchen faucets. Another plumber claimed to have fixed the leak in the kitchen but did not. Two weeks with no leaks so it seems as it is positively fixed.

He has been wonderful! Never afraid to just jump in. Very knowledgeable. Gives us all kinds of information about what he is doing. Gave advice for another job we doing in another state. If you call him, he will come that same day.

Two plumbers showed up on time on the arranged day. I first showed them everything I needed done. They made recommendations and explained some things I could do myself to save money (cleaning out a drain and repainting the walls in the basement shower instead of re-tiling and re-plumbing it). Then they spent about an hour and a half fixing the leaky shower faucet in the upstairs bath and replacing the old utility sink in the basement. They were friendly, clean, fast and their work was good (no more leaks and the utility sink is wrorking well). We were very happy with their work and would use them again.
