We just had our back lawn completely tilled up and replanted.  They did not do that service but did continue the weed and feed on the front and later when the grass came up in the back.  The lawn looks great.  This is my 2nd season with Lush Lawn and I am very pleased with their service.  I would definitely recommend them.

I will start off by saying what they provide is not bad, however their customer service is not good at all. They do not view people as people or value a customer. I say this because I was told by one of their employees Alex that I could cancel my service when my wife was having some very serious medical issues that we're costing us way more money then we expected. Alex said that they normally can not waive balances, but he would this time and we were squared away. 
A week later they were back at my house doing services that I had already canceled and proceeded to send me a bill for the amount I was told I didn't have to worry about, plus the new service. It took me two times to get this straightened out, or so I thought.
I just received a call from a women their saying I still owed $180 or so dollars. wow. I told the lady that I didn't owe the money and explained the whole situation. She said Alex had no authority to waive my balance. I told her that as a fellow business owner I have had my employees promise things that they really couldn't, but it was my duty to honor it. I also told her that that I would pay the amount she says I owe, but that I would never do business with them again. I told her that it is up to her. She can keep their companies word and value a customer or not. I also offered to meet in the middle and that if they did that I would more than likely use their services after all the medical issues cleared up. 
She said she would call me back and when she did said that they were deciding to not honor their word - so I paid the money and I will never again do business with a dishonest company that does not care about people or honor what they say. 
So good product, poor customer service, ran by dishonest people who don't care about other people.

I would not hire them again. I have had to contact the company numerous times to resolve the issues with the initial service. The technician didn't do any service at all as he didn't know where to spray around my home and didn't attempt to contact me to resolve this issue. The girls in the office after numerous calls stated they didn't have a male boss. I have spoken to Aaron who tried to resolve my issues but have decided that I simply want to break contact and find another provider.

Aaron S., your technician that was out on your initial first application noted that he did the whole property at the time of service. With your account being on verbal approval only, the only way we would treat your property is if you gave us that verbal approval and speak with you. We could set up your special instructions to say "ring doorbell" if that is what you would like. When you spoke to our ladies in the office in regards to the missed area, you said you spoke to our "male boss", which we did explain that the Aaron you spoke with was the technician on your property and not the owner of Lush Lawn and we did set up a service call to come back out and address your concern. After a couple days, you cancelled services and cancelled the service call. We also explained that we would meet you half way on the balance due on the account. This still remains true. Again, I am sorry you feel this way, and we have been trying to rectify the issue for the past couple months. Kind Regards - Tina - Office Manager - Brighton"

The usual weed and fertilizer treatments worked well. Each time they come, along with the bill, they leave a report of what they did and other issues that they see with the lawn. This is our second year with them and we have been pleased until now. They just did aeration of our lawn about a week ago. They called several days earlier to tell us the date it was to be done. I had not ordered this service so asked if my husband had called them. The representative said no. I told them that we did not sign up to have it done and I did not want it done. He explained why it needed to be done every year. I still said, and quot;no,and quot; but did tell him I would ask my husband about it and if he did want it done, I would call back. He did not think we needed it so I did not call back. We returned home on the date given and the lawn had been aerated. I called the next business day and complained, explaining the phone conversation. The person I talked to said she would talk to someone about it and return my call, which she did a couple of days later. She said that they were not able to take the cost for the service off of our account. I told her that I would talk to my husband, but would probably call back cancelling all of our service. When I called back to cancel, I talked to a different person. She looked at our records and told me that the person who called me about the aeration said that I told him that if we did not want the aeration, that I would call back. (That makes no sense since I told him on the phone I did not want it unless I let them know otherwise.) As an aside, they want you to sign up for the entire season to get a 10% discount which we do not do. This is a perfect reason who not to sign up for a year.
In addition, she told me that the information they send out at the beginning of the season says that any service that we had done the previous year would be repeated this year. I evidently did not read carefully enough. This is the second company we have used and the reason we cancelled the first one was because they were constantly being bombarded with other services that they thought we needed, so it is certainly something to be aware of.

Three years ago I changed lawn services to save a few bucks. In the course of three years my lawn has gone from being used in advertisements to a lawn that is thinning, has weeds and several different wild grasses growing in it.

They have been prompt and have not been pushing a lot of extra services or products. They are generally prompt and professional in what they do. We have had other services in the past. They are better than any of the others. One time we had to ask them to return to provide weed kill and then we had to ask them to return to finish killing the ground ivy. Each time they we courteous and responded quickly. Our lawn looks much better than before.

Everything was fine with the lawn treatments. We sold our house. The following year, we started getting bills from Lush Lawn. They decided to treat the house the following year. We only signed up for 2012 work, nothing in the future. Now they continuously have bill collectors calling. They expect us to pay for lawn treatments on a house we don't own. What a hassle!

"Many lawn care companies have auto-renewing services. We make several attempts in the "off-season" to contact customers to remind them of these renewals. This year, letters were sent in October and February offering a 10% discount to prepay, and verifying services for the coming season. Life can get busy, so some folks even request a call - a request we are happy to honor, even though our company has over 12,000 customers, and we tend to them 9 out of 12 months of the year, on average. If at any time you wish to make a change to your account, please contact your local branch - email, website, snail mail, or by phone. We don't assume that changes need to be made for the security and privacy of our customers - the vast majority of which find autorenewal to be a great convenience feature! We'd love to continue to care for your property if you still live in Eastern Michigan - please consider working with us again."

I used the office located in Rochester Hills, Michigan; [P: 248- 299-5874], based on the quick and noticiable results my neighbor's lawn showed after using the services of Lush Lawn. The extreme heat [several unending weeks of almost 100 degree weather], along with the drought conditions we were experiencing this year, took a toll on what in years past was my beautiful, green, lush lawn. Note: I had been watering my lawn 2-3 times a week, but not as often as I proably should have. I phoned Lush Lawn the second week in July. I was given an estimate over the phone, along with the recommendation to use 'organic treatments' due to the overly dry lawn conditon. I descirbed my lawn as and quot;fried outand quot; with lots of huge brown circular patches. Lush Lawn was out treating the front and back lawn within 5 days of my phone call. I stayed with my 2-3 times a week watering, and with help from mother nature in the form of rain and temps in the mid/high-80s my lawn is responding really well right now. As a side note---I also just applied 24-hr Grub-Ex Plus myself because I discovered my lawn also has sod worms. I'm sure this is also helping to show surprising quick lawn improvement results.I'm scheduled to have lawn aeration in the fall through Lush Lawn. I'm getting prepared for next seasonso this doesn't happen again.
