It was more extensive than originally thought. But the work was high quality and the price was reasonable for the work performed.

North Pointe was able to find the inducer assembly, have it shipped overnight, and installed by noon the next day...just before really cold air arrived. Expensive part, so I expected the repair to be a bit costly. But North Pointe charged a very reasonable install fee, and total cost was less than I anticipated.

3 hours later a 2 man team showed up, said they had been pulled from another job to handle my problem. They problem was corrected quickly, professionally and with no nonsense that you sometimes see when you are paying an hourly rate. Though quite young, both technicians were very knowledgeable and quickly located and fixed the multiple problems. I would absolutely recommend North Pointe to anyone needing plumbing or heating professionals

The repair went very well. The cleanup crew was in the house and the two teams worked well together getting the water back on.

Plumbing installation done well. A big improvement over the old cpvc. Tub/shower valve now functional and more easily repaired in the future if required. New furnace is functioning properly but has not been tested yet under winter cold conditions. Good communications with Butch and his helper throughout the project. Would use them again and recommend to others.

Hired originally as a sub contractor for renovation of home. Two partners in Co - Plumber (not bad) HVAC (bad. Cost $16K+++ When one of their plumbing lines leaked, HVAC came to repair, borrowed tools and ladder, then sent a bill. Same HVAC who didnt seal duct joints. Would not recommend company for any work.

My home was left unexpectedly vacant for the winter. The water was turned off but the pipes were not winterized. Needless to say we returned to a disaster. No water damage but MANY broken pipes.
Butch from North Pointe Plumbing and Heating came out the same day I called. He and his assistant Adam were courteous and professional.
After examining my situation they told me they COULD repair the damage but as it was extensive it would be easier and much cheaper to simply re-plum the cottage. Also, a re-plumb would be guaranteed where as he obviously couldn't guarantee the old pipes.
After considering my options I elected to have the pipes replaced. We settled on a reasonable price and the work was done in two days. He had my bath, including the hot water heater (which thank goodness was undamaged), up and running the first day and the rest of the house before noon the next day.
I can't say enough good things about my experience with North Pointe Plumbing and Heating. They saved the day for me and I plan to use them to replace my heating system later this year. As long as I'm in the Gaylord MI area I won't use anyone else for the services they provide.

I thought they were very good and have been happy when using them in the past.
