MAXX GARAGE

At first he seemed like the best deal the best at what he does. But what he really was the best at was taking your money on car and avoiding you at all costs. I needed a new motor put in, i called around and he said he would beat anyones price because works slow because no one has money to get repairs done. So after calling everyone in the area I ended up going with him. He says well I'm having trouble finding a used motor so its going to cost more this after he has my car and tells me it will take 2 days. Well I was not ok with that so I called around looking for a motor and first call i made I found one for 375.00. So I called Maxx's back told him where it was at he called me told me it was 650 I said they told me it was 375 he well that must be a different one, this one is better low miles ect. ect.   Well now a week has gone by I need my car get it so the price was 1700 now its 2000. He said he would have the motor the next day and it would take him 2 days to do It so that is a total of 3 days.Did not hear from him on the 3rd day I called on the 4th no answer (mind you he has my money and car) I left a message. No call back I called again the next day no answer left a message again. This went on for a week. My brother even called and left a message with a employee of his, the employee didnt even know why that car was here and he said that he does all the work on cars and didnt have any info on that one. So Im steaming I go there the place is closed no one answered the door . I pounded on that door everyday for 3 days. needless to say it took him a month and a half to fix it when I finlay get my car This after having my brother start going there he answered the door for him cuz he didn't know who he was at first.  The motor fan didn't work the air didn't work, the heater only worked on 1,2,3  some reason 4 and 5 didn't do anything. all the change was going out of the car. My boys had some toys in the back seat they were cleaned out. Cd's gone. He says well you should know better then leaving thing in a car how am I to know they were there or who took them ( Well there is him and one other guy that works there) if it wasn't him the it was the other guy right? Never got anything back. Transmission leaks, the speed was off by 10 got pulled over to find that out . car stunk like a grease box till I had it cleaned. And he had bull answers for all of this and said all of those thing were wrong with it when I brought it in. this went on back and forth for a year. Well nothing can be done your warranty is up.
