This company has poor customer service from management. We called them to a fix a leak on top of our hot water heater. We scheduled it after hours due to our work schedule. They never showed so we call and find out the worker on call did not know about the appointment. So, we had to reschedule for the next day. They came out and fixed it however after they left the spigot on the bottom of the hot water heater started leaking. It never leaked before. We called and told them about it, they sent the same guy out, and he fixed it. Surprisingly he handed us a bill. The worker was nice, but he was not in charge and was just doing what he was told. We called management and spoke to Ron. Ron said it had to be preexisting and there is no way his guy did it. Right away you know what kind of person you are dealing with. Maybe someone with a little business knowledge on how to retain customers would say they don't know if their guy did it or if it was preexisting, lets split the bill, are you OK with that. That is logical and reasonable given the situation. Ron eventually said he would talk to his worker to get more information, see if he can lower the price, and call us back. Never called us back. We called a week later and spoke to Mike, who said he didn't know anything about it and he would have Ron call us back. Ron never called us back. A week later we get a bill for the full amount. Pretty bad experience. Be cautious if things don't go as planned as management is not reasonable or responsive.

This was an insurance claim.  They charged $2,117.00 over their written bid for the plumbing.  At the final inspection the inspector found a gas leak (inside the house) on the furnace and failed the inspection as he should.   I contacted the contractor and he instructed me to contact J & P, so I called J & P and explained that the inspector failed the heating as he found a gas leak on the furnace. They sent out the service man and he stated to me "the inspector should of passed it if was in Otsego County they would of passed it"  I was not only shocked and appalled that their service technician would have the audacity to make such a comment but the complete disregard for the leak.  He begrudging checked the furnace and didn't seem to care when I showed him where the leak was located.  He fixed it and I called the contractor again to inform him what the J&P technician said and called the inspector to set up another inspection.  This time the inspection passed. I also informed the inspector what the J&P technician's comments were regarding the gas leak.  The technician was far from professional.

We were pleased with them.  It was all reasonable.  They were excellent.  They were great.  They were just on time.  They were very punctual. I feel like they do a good job.  I continue using them because of their punctuality, professionalism, and their reasonable prices.

the entire system is junk and my house will not heat over 60 in the winter.
They will not do anything. They only used one small furnace and were of no help when I complained took their money and ran.

The initial visit by the salesman/project manager was open, honest and informative. The quote was fair, detailed and concise, with no hidden items. (Unlike other near by contractors). The installation of the high efficiency furnace was not a typical install, but the crew provided a good clean quality job, and stayed until the system was completed and in service. Follow-up on miscellaneous thermostat adjustment was also good, and the salesman/project manager stayed involved throughout the process.

No surprises.  Quality professional job!  Will use them in the spring to add to A/C.  Workers were pleasant and made sure to clean up after themselves.

The on-call technician telephoned me to assess the problem. Since the vent was from my furnace as well as my hot water heater, there was no question that it needed to be taken care of immediately. The tech arrived promptly and took care of the problem, actually fashioning a pipe to fit as he didn't have the right size on the truck. Tom was courteous, prompt, and efficient.

A representative immediately came to the house ( 25 mile away) to look at the situation and give us an estimate. He called me the next day to explain the project and gave me an estimate. I agreed to the estimate and we set a date for the project. His team arrived on time and provided all products and supplies to complete the work. He removed the old water heater, ran the new gas and water lines and tested the system once completed. The team did quality work and removed the old tank and parts upon leaving. In addition, they re-routed the drain line for the washing machine and did a few extras to make sure that we were totally satisfied with their work. I would hire this company again for other any future plumbing issues.

I called to set up their service and was given a date and general time (morning or afternoon) to have it performed. The technician arrived on time. He was professional. I received a detailed statement of all that he did and the condition of my furnace. I have used this company every year since 2001and have always received the same good service.

When I turned off the water to the outside, the valve leaked. I called for to have a new valve installed and the plumber was there within a few hours of my call. The valve did not need to be replaced - he only had to tighten a nut. A little embarrassing for me, but the problem was fixed and I was charged for half a service call

A Representative initially came to my home to provide an estimate to install A/C. Member was Courteous, Professional, and Thorough.A week later a 2 man team arrived on time to complete the installation. They too were very Courteous, Professional, and Thorough.Unit went in with little difficulty, was tested and the job was done.They cleaned up after themselves before leaving.This experience met my expectation completely and I'm quite satisfied.
