Window Service
It went well until one of the windows (after 2years) lost its balance and could not be lifted without great difficulty and would crash down if not held up with a strong piece of lumber. I called Anderson Installation the installer for Home Depot, who told me I had a lifetime warranty on the windows. Then the fun began. They refused to give me a time or date they could fix the window. They were very busy. It has been almost four months and many calls to Anderson and Home Depot still nothing. I was never rude or nasty in any of these calls. I am a 73 year old widow who can not lift this window up. I have gone all summer with my bedroom window down. I have sadly been told by many folks, "Good luck, that's how Home Depot operates." I have been told I will probably have to take them to small claims court. I will never go in a Home Depot store again.
