Dropped my car off the night before my 7:00am appointment for a oil change, tire rotation and voluntary emissions warranty. When I made my appointment I was told that it was a 2 hour job. On the paperwork I indicated that I needed my car by NOON (plenty of time for them to complete a 2 hour job). I called at 9:35 am, the car wasn't ready. I called at 12:30 pm and was told that my service man (John) was with a customer and would call me back. I called at 1:35 pm because John never called me back and was once again told that my service man was with a customer. I didn't accept the answer and waited for John. When I inquired about the status of my car John told me that it was the next in line!! it wasn't even looked at and I had a 7:00 am appointment. I asked him what they did with my car since I had a 7:00 am appointment. John said that he checked the car in at 7:10 am and didn't know that I needed it at Noon. (Hello, if he read the paperwork he would have seen that I needed it at Noon). He had no other explanation other than that they were busy. A story I don't believe. I spoke with the service manager and he had no explanation other than they "were busy." So what - I am not a mechanic, but I do know that an oil change and tire rotation does not take 7 hours! They just need to admit that they screwed up. That same day my sister took her car in for an 8:30 am appointment at which time she said the place was empty. Her car was done earlier than promised. When she went in at 12:30 pm she said again that the place was empty. When my car was finally finished (or so they say) at 3:00 pm, the place was empty and surprisingly John was no where to be found!
On another note, last month my daughter sold her car which was purchased at Gordon. I called them and told them that we no longer owned the car, gave them the new purchaser's info and asked them to update their records. My daughter got a call Friday morning that her car was ready and she could come and get it! So much for quality control.
The last time I took my car there for a recall, a one day job turned into 2 days! However, I thought that I would give them a second chance --- never again. I am done with Gordon Chevrolet Service and will never again purchase a car there either!

Talk about the WOW treatment. I called and spoke with John Mauro earlier the week before and layed it all on the line. We had a 2012 Durango with a not so good Carfax. It was involved in an accident when it was just 5 months old, not my fault. We also had a 2012 Caravan lease we were severly over in miles with another 10 months or so to go. I told John our overall budget for buying 1 car as well as 2. He ran numbers for so many car & so many options, banks, terms...you name it. I felt like a kid in a candy store. By explained the pros and cons to each car in each buying situation in regards to trading whichever vehicle against it. To top it all off I get supplier discount which would only allow me as the named signer and I was at work for the majority of the discussion while my husband went to see John in person. Not a problem for John! After a few days of himming and hawing, talking to the insurance company about rates and making sure our twins car seats and my 6'6' husband fit comfortably with those car seats in place we made the purchase. The purchase process was pretty easy. John had everything organized when we arrived. All I needed to do was test drive the car I picked out since I was physically absent during the negotiations. John showed my husband and I all the bells and whistles in our respective cars and even assisted my husband in putting my car seats in my car. The next afternoon John followed up to make sure we were able to set up or XM radio and Onstar. All in all it was a great experience.

On the way home I checked the oil life monitor system and it said I had about 58% oil life left.
I expected it to say 100%, after all they just changed the oil and reprogrammed the oil life monitor.
Also, part of the oil change service is to check and correct tire pressure. The sticker on the car says pressure should be 35psi. The paperwork and the dashboard display showed 30-31 psi.
I've filled out two surveys related to this service and gotten no reply.
None of this is life threatening but it makes me wonder what else?
Previous service has been fine. I even leased this car there because of how well the service department had treated my daughter when she took her car there.

The company they contracted to reglue my interior leather did a good job and the work was guaranteed for 1 year. The bumper and quarter panel looked beautiful. You wouldn't know there was any work done to it as it looked brand new.

Once they picked up my 2011 Chevy Cruze, they completed the planned oil change, and I was worried when I didn't hear from them for a couple of hours. When I called I was pleasantly surprised. They had also diagnosed the check engine light and already completed the needed repair. They replaced the water pump because it was slightly leaking. The water pump repair was no cost to me since it was under full warranty. The best news was that my car was still ready for me at the end of the work day which is what I had originally planned.

They did a good job and it was done in less than a week. I was very happy with everything. The customer service was great and they did a great job on the car so I have no complaints.
