My initial call was answered by a gentleman who ended up being the person who came for my refrigerator repair. He was professional and polite. HOWEVER, my second call was answered by a woman, who, had SHE been the one answering my initial call, I would have hung up and gone on to the next company repair shop. She was incredibly rude and would not have gotten my business. Repair man was awesome, receptionist - not so awesome. She is probably losing them plenty of business.

Very well and he had the parts with him to do the job.

They usually don't work on ice markers but went ahead and did it for me. I will continue to use them.

They are a very honest company.

I've used Carmack for my appliance repair for many years and they have always been professional, courteous, and fully able to meet the challenge of the needed repair.

It went well.  At first the technician thought the dryer needed a new motor and he quoted me a reasonable price for that.   I initially declined thinking that it would better to purchase a brand new dryer rather than fixing an old one.  However, after checking prices for new dryers, I decided to have the old one repaired.  The same technician came back a few days later.  As it turned out, the motor didn't need to be replaced.  There was a piece of fabric wrapped around the blower wheel that was causing the problem.  He removed the fabric.  He also replaced a belt and idler pulley.  The technician was polite and professional.  And even though he  made two trips to my house, he only charged me one trip charge.

Excellent ! I called in for a repair and Shawn ( the owner ) was out the next day. Determined the stove needed a new burner. He was back in two days. Not only did he install the part, he completely cleaned under my glass top. Not an area I would even know how to get to. The person I spoke to at the store was very pleasant. The repairmen are on time. Shawn usually comes out, but I have had other repairmen as well. Always do a great job. I have used Carmack for repairs, bought appliances from them when they sold them and parts as well. This is a wonderful family owned company. I wouldn't consider calling anyone else.

It went great. Andy came and diagnosed the problem which was a circuit board. He called the office and had them order the part. He then came back in a week and installed it in our fridge. He was on time for both appointments and was very professional.
I will definitely use Carmack again for my appliance repairs.

The stove is 9 years old, so he had to order the part. Came the following Monday to install it. He called ahead of time to make the appointment and came on time. Everything went well and he knew what he was doing. Very friendly repairman named Jim, very polite. He checked our microwave also because the turntable wouldn't work anymore, and he told us it was not worth repairing and that we should just buy a new one. He was honest. Will definitely call them again if in need of anymore appliance repair. Thanks for the recommendation, Angie!

The Carmack tech gave us excellent information and recommendations. He thought the noise might be the transmission (probably too costly to repair) but also checked out the pump, which occasionally causes a similar noise. Turned out that the pump was the problem and could be easily fixed for a reasonable amount of money. He replaced the pump, and the washer is working great.

They did a great job trying to fix my dryer. They came back 2 more times. It was obvious that I needed a new dryer. AAA for effort. Very courteous and on time. Will use again if I need them!!!

Office staff was helpful and friendly. Andy called that morning as promised to give me a 2-hour time window and arrived on time. I described the problem, and he fixed it in no time. He was great at fully explaining the problem and the fix. He answered all of my questions in helpful detail. The dryer now works great and is very quiet.

After our dishwasher stopped working we called the manufacturer - Maytag. It was out of warranty and they recommended Carmack. We made an appointment. The repair person was prompt, polite, courtious and professional. The problem was a loose wire from the installation. It was promptly fixed and tested. We were charged what they had quoted as the minimum for a service call. If we ever have any appliance issues in the future Carmack will be at the top of the list.
