The repair time was a little longer than they had said. They did not have a loaner car for me to use while work was being done. The repairs were completed and when I picked up my vehicle they told me it seemed to be misfiring and that could be the catalytic converter and I should have that checked. I left with my vehicle and had to turn around and go back. It was running so poorly I was afraid to go more than a half mile from the shop. Upon taking it back they put it back in the garage to check things. Again I was told it was probably the catalytic converter and they suggested a place that could look at it for me. (I thought they were a service center) Then they said "I wouldn't drive the car too much" Well, to me that is not repaired then. I paid $896.00 to have my vehicle running worse than it did prior to the intake cracking. I did take it to the suggested garage and have the catalytic converter checked. It is fine, no problems at all. The mechanic there said it was something in the engine.
So as a single mom with limited income I have a vehicle I still owe a lot of money on, just paid $896, and I still can't drive it.
