Several days ago I went to turn on my original 1950 outdoor faucet and the shut off valve finally snapped off. Robbie from Smillie Plumbing arrived and installed a new shut off vale after shutting off the main water supply. He then Installed a new Faucet. I have all copper plumbing and it did involve sweating the pipes. He was on his way back to the shop in just under an hour and this involved some custom routing of the copper piping. This is the second time that I have contracted there services and I have been very happy. John Smillie the owner returned my call and arrived for an estimate when he said that he would. I am still waiting for 2 other plumbers to get back with me. I can highly recommend.

It went well. Provider showed up within a reasonable time. I was pleased that they fixed my one outside faucet instead of just replacing it. Staff was professional.

The technician who came to do the work was very professional and helpful. He spotted a problem when we discussed moving the water heater vent. I had not realized that if the vent was raised where I wanted it would then be in the way of the pull down ladder used to get into the attic. He was able to adjust the vent to a height not to interfere with the ladder and still provide room for the new washer/dryer unit. We discussed a possible problem with the bathroom toilet having a slow leak but he thought that what I had done to solve the problem was good. Since the toilet does not run on like it did before I did my fix he thought it best not to do anything else at this time. I have called Smillie Plumbing again to have them provide a new vent for the new dryer I hope to purchase soon. The person I talked to on the phone about the dryer vent was very helpful and understood just what I was looking for. Now I only have to wait for them to get the parts in stock and then set up a time to replace the vent. I have been impressed with this company and think they have been very helpful.

After attempting other companies which appeared higher in the list, and not getting anyone to pick-up, Smilley Plumbing answered the phone. They had someone here within one hour as promised. The technician quickly located the leak and did a quick but comprehensive job repairing. Now my natural gas is turned back on! I am certainly noting this company's name for the future.

I called in the morning because my hot water heater gave out and soaked my basement carpet. I called Smillie about 7 a.m. and was scheduled to install a new hot water heater that afternoon. It took about 4 hours. The owner talked to me several times when my husband wanted me to ask additional questions about the hot water heater we were getting (efficiency, cost, etc.) Overall I was extremely happy. I will definitely use them again.

Company representative was very polite, clean and professional. When asked questions he answered fully.

Had a problem with the blower on my hot water heater. Was able to come out the same day and take a look and fix. Have been out a few other times and very responsive and reliable. Definitely recommend.

Got a prompt estimate and the service man even said I didn't need as big of a furnace as another company told me I needed. They came out quickly and did a good job. I would use them again.

They are very well known in Freeland so I called them. They have a paid service column. The work they did was on their service column part so their price was pretty on track; I knew what it was going to be before they came. They were very punctual. I would continue to use their service as long as I live in Freeland.
