Very knowledgeable. Did a thorough inspection, took samples and gave us the whole gamut of possible remedies from most expensive on down. We felt like we have good choices for the next step.

Steve was very personable and easy to work with. He worked around my schedule with no questions or complaints. He is very thorough and helpful in explaining everything he sees during the process. He is easy to get ahold of and has been great to work with. He really helped us out during a time crunch. We will go with Steve moving forward for any home inspections we need done in the future. Steve was absolutely AMAZING! I called on a Sunday evening expecting to get a voicemail but he promptly picked up and was super friendly. We got plenty of notifications leading up to the date of inspection reminding us of our appointment. He was there early and was not rushing or acting pressed for time throughout the entire process, which our inspection lasted 3.5 hours! He is very thorough and shows you pictures and video along the way, all while engaging in conversation and answering any questions you have. This whole home buying process has been stressful, but dealing with Steve definitely put our mind at ease after all of the craziness. If I could give him a higher rating I would, he was just that fantastic.

Steve was extremely personable right from the get go. I was hesitant at first when I found 4SITE Inspections online but saw that Steve had really good reviews and went for it. By far the best decision we made. He made the process extremely easy for us as first time home buyers. We also really liked that we got a binder at the end with our full report and some extra documents for us to look through.

Steve was a very personable and knowledgeable inspector. Throughout the inspection Steve took the time to stop and explain everything he was seeing in easy to understand terms that put my wife and i at ease. The whole inspection process took about 3 hours and he left no stone unturned. Throughout the inspection we never felt like Steve was rushing through the job or was in any hurry to get onto his next job. Any questions we had were answered by Steve without making us feel like the question (or ourselves) were dumb. The night before our inspection we had a large snowfall and it was impossible for Steve to inspect the roof. But Steve took it upon himself to return 3 days later after the melt and complete the inspection of the roof and septic system. The report he he gave us was complete and very informative in an easy to understand format. To many times we have dealt with contractors who are net to impossible to get hold of are get return calls from, not Steve. He was readily available anytime we needed to contact him and answered his phone on the first call or would return our calls almost immeadiately. With questions arising about the septic system Steve went to he Michigan Department of Health and obtained all the permits and description plans of the system and included them in his report. Steve is a homebuyers best friend and a listing agents worst nightmare, because if there is a problem Steve will find it. I could see the listing agent getting annoyed during the inspection because she felt Steve was taking too long. The agent even made remarks to us that other inspectors only look at the major componets of the property and are done in half the time. At that moment I knew Steve was doing something right. This was a large investment for my wife and I and we appreciated having someone on our side looking out for our intrest. If your in need of an inspection and want it done right by a person who is looking out for you and understands your concerns then Steve at 4SITE is the person you want to hire.

I found our inspector to be knowledgeable while possessing the ability to communicate all concerns fluently so that we could understand. We also appreciated how relatable our inspector was and how sensitive he was of our thoughts about the process. We would add that he was punctual, courteous while traversing our property, and would easily engage in conversation while performing the inspection.
