The install of the fence (2010) went good. Only thing we were not happy about was that they left dirt piles next to all of the posts. I cleaned those up but the overall install and appearance of the fence was good. Installers were on time and and finished the job as promised. We had work done in our backyard 3 years later where 2 fence posts were damaged. We contacted Elegant to replace the 2 posts and reattach 2 panels. Frank answered the phone and provided a verbal quote of $300. He took my email address and said he would email it to me. Several days later and no email, I called again and asked for the quote. This time I talked to Gene. Right away he was rude in asking me when I called previously and who i spoke with. I provided him the details and he told me Frank should not have given me a price and he (Gene) would email me a quote. When I received the emailed quote it was now $145 more. I questioned Gene on this and he unprofessionally told me Frank does not remember talking to me and their minimum was $350 to come out so I was wrong. It became obvious to me the repair job was small and Gene (the owner) was not interested in doing it. I was shocked to find out he was the owner. I would have used another company at this point but had no choice as the fence was custom. I ended up just ordering the 2 fence posts and hiring another fence company to complete the repairs. Would never give them my business again.
