The company does not do mold testing; you have to hire another company to take samples, send them to the lab and have them analyzed. Adam (mentioned favorably in a number of older reviews) does not work there anymore.

Good morning [Member Name Removed]. I'd like to apologize for any misunderstandings in regards to the services that our company performs, because I can see how from your point of view it might seem as though we are mis-communicating the services we offer. From what I've been told, you called and spoke with a member of our team who told you that (1) Adam is no longer with our company; (2) We do not currently offer mold testing, only removal/remediation; (3) Mold samples would need to be sent to a lab for testing. If this is not an accurate summary of what you were told on the phone, please contact me so that I can get your full side of the story, and an accurate understanding of what took place. In regards to Adam, he is no longer with our company as of earlier this year. We did have another member of our company who was qualified to perform mold tests, but he resigned about a month ago and we've been actively searching for a qualified replacement since then. Unfortunately, Angie's List has no singular "Mold Remediation" category, so we are still grouped in to the "Mold Testing & Remediation" category. As for sending samples to the lab, I don't believe there is a company in our area that does not have to do this, though I could be wrong. Every company I am aware of - including ours even when Adam and our other qualified employee were still on staff - will take samples such as air samples, swabs, and so forth, then send them to a third party laboratory for testing. Even a full service restoration company like ours is not equipped to perform this testing in-house. Ultimately, I'm very sorry we couldn't help you with your mold issue, but more importantly I'm sorry if it seems as if we did anything deceptive - that was not our intention at all. The woman you spoke with on the phone was devastated to hear that someone she spoke with was so upset with her, and if there is anything she, I, or our company can do to fix this, please let us know. We are literally in business to help people, often people who have been affected by unexpected disaster, such as a basement flood or a house fire, and who are often going through an extremely distressing situation with no prior experience and no knowledge of where to get help. We really do care about the people we work with, and I hope there is something we can do to show you that we are a company that is here to help.

Very well. They subcontracted another company to do the waterproofing and they cleaned up the cement dust the waterproofing company left behind. Construction was very professional and worked with me to schedule the work. Their workers were very polite and cleaned up their work area.

The representative came, inspected the area and determined that there was no mold issue (what we thought) but something else completely harmless and normal for the age of the house. He was thorough and knowledgeable in his assessment.

We hired Adam to inspect two homes we were considering purchasing. He found mold and evidence of water damage that the home inspector missed. Extremely valuable service at an extremely reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Adam Raskey is the ultimate professional. He went above and beyond in explaining the issue in my basement and the steps that he would take to remedy the situation. The team arrived on time, finished on time and cleaned up after themselves. All in all, a very positive experience and I intend to reuse their services if the need ever arises.
