Smooth process from the straight forward estimate to the bill handed to me only upon completion Which was exactly what I was quoted -- I actually asked for a soil test which changed their Schedule by a few days and I was not charged for the Delay and the whole time I felt that they cared that the job was done exactly right They will do my concrete floors once the plumbing gets done and then i will have them come back to do my driveway later this fall

We took three bids for our driveway. Schneider was the lowest and I spoke with them in great detail. It was a family-owned business, which I really liked the idea of using. We poured the concrete in October, which I questioned because I was afraid it was too late in the season. They said it would be fine and that they did it all the time. By December (and it was not a cold winter) we had cracks. By spring we had chunks missing. At first they wouldn't return calls. When they finally did they all came over and looked at it. Initially they told us it was a rough winter. Then they told us it was the cutting and they didn't use a deep enough saw, which they came over and did. The chunks and cracking continued. They suggested maybe putting a sealant on it, which we asked them not to do until we knew more about it. Next thing we knew we came home from work one day and they had put the sealant on, which made our driveway look like a dirty oil slick. Cracking and chunking continues to this day, but at least the oil slick look has begun to subside. We called the National Concrete Association who said they thought we had valid issues, but it's truly too much of a hassle to follow through with litigation. They refused to deal with us after that point. As soon as we can afford it, we will have this new driveway taken out and another one put in.
