I needed an extremely specific type of anti-bacterial chemical for my fish tank because i have my very large eclipse catfish and iridescent sharks. I was more of a novice when it came to fish-keeping so I immediately asked a women to help me. She kindly walked me over to the fish isle and explained to me that it would be a good idea to sprinkle some freshwater salt and try Melafix or Pimafix in the tank with a 25% water change before every use and to take the carbon filter out. Unfortunately it was not in stock but she was kind enough to recommend me to two other stores that she thought would have them in stock (which they did).The bacterial infection cleared up quickly and I was able to save 2 of my fish when I would had normally lost all of them.
Also when buying bird seed (since I can't stand buying those pricey prepackaged bags) they have dispensers where you can select just how much you want by pound and the price is nice too! I love going to this pet store because they are much more knowledgeable and seem to care more then other stores.
