Best Rate Fence, now known as Interstate Fence Services was very professional, timely and performed quality work for me. My fence looks great with no flaws, and the gates were hand welded by the owner. Very capable, hard working and dependable. I would highly recommend this service to anyone needing fence repair or installation.

I contacted Deb and told her what kind of fence I was looking for . She went out that day and took a picture of a previous fence that Don had installed. She e-mailed the picture to me and gave me the address so I could drive by and look at it. The picture spoke a thousand words and I didn't need to take time out of my busy schedule to check it out. Then Deb sent me 4 references. I contacted 3 of the customers and they were all very satisfied.







Don's estimate was half as much as the competitors wanted. It's gorgeous. I couldn't be happier. I enjoyed the whole process !

Don and his crew, were very professional. They were the best deal in town. Being a local company we were very pleased to give them our business. Even the wood they used for our new White Cedar fence, was grown in Michigan and built right on the premises with local Michigan labor. A win-win situation for our economy. All of the other bids were going to charge us extra for removal of our old fence. They did a excellent job.

fWe called Best Rate Fence, which is now called Interstate Fence, and the
owner, Don Billingsley, returned our phone call promptly. He came to
our home and measured and talked to us about what style of fence we
wanted. Within a couple of days, he got back with us on a price. We told
him that was more than we budgeted for a fence. We first wanted the pvc
fencing and then we decided that Cedar was more within our budget. Then,
since we wanted the picket style fence, he asked us if we wanted
dog-eared or pointed (traditional picket style). We have grandchildren
and a dog so he suggested and we agreed that we should have rounded
pickets. He cut them individually, over 150 of them. He had to contend
with a week of steady rain, but as soon as there was a break in the
rain, he came with his Nephew and got it done in one day. We were very pleased with his work and his commitment to doing a good job. Don's estimate was well under the other estimate we got.

It's a small company. It's a husband and wife team. She is in charge of the finances and He is in charge of the fencing and installation. He is a retired carpenter. He knows his stuff. He gave us a lot of ideas. They were the least expensive. They actually finished the project before we had anticipated. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves. They were great.
