Kirk May & the Flint crew did a great job. They were here on time, worked very professionally, did a high quality job and cleaned up after each days work. There was zero damage to gutters, siding, surrounding trees & bushes and our flower beds.
I got bids from several contractors. It turns out that there are several ways to lower the price bid for re-shingling your house by lowering the quality of the materials used. There are several different grades of underlayment (tar paper), water & ice shield, shingles, roof vents and starter strips. We have a problem with algae buildup on the north side of the house and some ice damns during the winter on the east side of our great room. I wanted a premium system and a guaranteed no algae build-up shingle.
Sherriff-Goslin Co was the only contractor that gave me what I wanted. The shingles have a lifetime warranty (non-prorated for 20yrs), lifetime algae resistance warranty,130 mph wind warranty, class 4 impact resistance(highest available) and is transferable for the first 10 years to another homeowner if we sell the house. From Sherriff Goslin I believe we've gotten a quality roofing system that we will not ever have to worry about for the rest of our lives.

Overall I am very disappointed with them. I gave them the money they asked for which was quite a lot, thinking this is a good company, but they have done a poor job. I will never hire them again.

Their prices were comparable. There service was excellent. They finished the job in four days and worked diligently throughout the project.
