I contacted Kearsley Appliance Repair and the next day they sent a repairman out. Brandon gave me a 20 min. heads-up call and arrived right on time. He was professionally polite and did a few preliminary checks. He suspected it was the defrost control unit and confirmed that after removing a panel. He had the part ordered while he was still at the house. The part came in 4 days later, and I was contacted to set up a time for him to come back out and replace the bad part. Just as before, I got a heads up call and he arrived on time. In less than 30 minutes the work was done and the refrigerator is working fine. I thought that the work was good, and the price was fair. I would definitely call them for other repairs.

I just want to say the Kearsley Appliance Repair is SUPERB! They repaired my vacuum which was still under warranty and did it quickly and efficiently!!! I have used this business before and each time I am so impressed with the people who work there and with the quality of the service I receive !!!! They previously repaired my dryer. The employee who came out was so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient that I would never higher any other appliance repair service. This is a family owned business and they are honest, and trustworthy ....do NOT HESITATE to higher them. You will not be taken advantage of.

As I stated in a previous review I posted, my initial experience with Kearsley Appliance was with the same refrigerator and a different issue. We were so impressed with the technician, Scott, that we again requested his services on this call. The repair was quick. It is refreshing having such a skilled, personable and professional service person. Scott is respectful, knowledgeable and explained every step and answered all our questions. We have received such great service that I felt I should share our experiences. It's all about customer service if you ask me. Kearsley Appliance delivered for us!

The repairman was very prompt getting there, and the service call price was quoted ahead of time.  After checking out our unit, he said that it would probably cost almost $500. to repair it, and gave me details of what would have to be done.  We then decided just to get a new laundry center - ours  was very old.  When we asked him, the repairman also gave us advice of of how the new product needed to be measured so that it would fit into the existing space.  He was exactly right on what we had to do to get the new one installed later on.

After being here all of 5 minutes they young repairman (Bill) diagnosed the repair needed (lid switch) and had it replaced within 15 minutes.  He was accurate and fast. Very pleased with the service from Kearsley Appliance of Flint.

I am know and will forever be a grateful customer to this wonderful family owned company. I was so impressed with my total experience with them that I will tell everyone I know to use them for any appliance repair.
It was so nice to find a company that tells you upfront exactly what they will charge you to come out and how much by the hours and that gives a Senior discount.
Bill the Technician who came out is probably one of the NICEST people I have ever met. He was so friendly, honest, and knowledgeable that I immediately knew I could trust him to not overcharge or tell me I need repairs that I did not need!
He began to work immediately to diagnose the problem, then when finished he told me how much it would cost, when the parts would be in and when he would be back to complete the job.
It was also very nice to hear an employee talk so highly of the company he worked for.
He told me how they were totally family owned and how well he felt they treat their employees. It is nice to hear of a company that shows their employees respect and that they care about them.
Bill brought a new employee with him on his second visit and explained how the training program works.
You could see how much pride Bill has in the company he works for. I would definitely recommend Bill for a management position as he is a wonderful Ambassador for Kearsley Appliance!!!
The price was $128, which I felt was totally reasonable and fair.
Please...do yourself a favor and make KEARSLEY APPLIANCE your appliance repair company!

Brandon from Kearsley Appliance was very punctual and it only took him 5 minutes to diagnose and repair the situation. He knew right away what the problem was. The dryer would sometimes heat and sometimes not. The dryer has been working fine since. It just seems like their service call prices are a way too high.

Kearsley Appliance Repair was "A+". I didn't have to pay them because I have an AST plan with Consumer Electric. Kearsley Appliance was excellent, nice, and understanding. Joe, the one that fixed my appliance, knew what he was doing and explained everything and even took pictures of the dryer as he was working on it. He was very thorough.
