I also spoke to the vet about one of my dog's inflamed eye. An ointment was prescribed, but for some reason, it was never used in the three days they were being boarded. My dog's eye looks significantly worse now after more days of non-treatment. I'm concerned we may be too late.
I also had a couple of other concerns regarding one of my dog's back legs. The vet brushed me off and didn't really address anything, except to recommend doing some blood and urine tests. According to my bill, those tests were completed, but I've never heard what the results are.
The care experience was uneven at best this time. I did not like the vet. He seemed impatient when I couldn't hold the one dog's head still, but I was trying to control my other two dogs at the same time. It was a disturbing experience and I will make sure my dogs are never examined by that vet again.
