+ -1 moreMr. Stanke had been referred to me by Mr. Doug McDonald of DRM Masonry who was to repair the chimney for me. Together, they took care of a problem that had bothered me for a long time. Other than that I told the whole store above.
Description of Work: Mr Stanke replaced the flashing and some of the shingles around my chimney. He had to scrape old tar off the chimney and remove the flashing which had pulled away. To do this he needed to remove and replace some shingles. He went to buy the needed shingles and when he returned with black - the roof was black when installed ten years ago but had faded - he wasn't satisfied and went to see if he could find a better color match. I told him it didn't matter if it was a perfect match but it did matter to him. He worked several hours to get the job finished to his satisfaction and the final price was $300.00 as first quoted. I told him that I can't get up on the roof to view the work but my son will. I am sure it will meet with my son's approval. I am happy to have this recurring problem fixed.
