I was given a quotes price for the work and decided to take for repair. The quoted price was met an service took one day. Excellent service!

They are always polite and efficient.  They are quick.  The one problem we have had in the past is that they used a defective used part that ended up breaking while we were out of town and couldn't take it back to have them fix it.  But we have used them for the tire and brake services many times an they always have done a good job.

I have used Wetmore's several times for my tire needs.  I find the employees to be very straight forward and honest with me.  And I think their prices are very fair.  
Some further details on my last visit to Wetmore's was due to a nail puncture in the side of my tire.  The technician initially examined the puncture to see if could be patched, but due to being in the sidewall of the tire it could not be fixed.  The technician then went over the options I had for a replacement tire.  He did not try to sell me on getting all 4 tires replaced because he explained the treads on the remaining three were still in good shape and would last for several more years.  Therefore he suggested just replacing the one tire that was punctured.  He showed me several options ranging from the low, mid and high performance tires.  Because this was a temporary tire I opted for the lowest priced tire.  The tire and labor came out to $40 which I thought was a very fair price.
The location itself is very dated, but I think it lends itself well to the the old school straight forward attitude of the place.  Will be back.

Call for appointment and typically they give you a window of two hours or so, so I brought my computer and planned to work and read. They finished in about 35 minutes. Appear very knowledgeable and very personable. But, on most jobs, you will need to plan to be there all day (or big portions of it) or get a ride. He said that I was his first Angie's list person

Had taken my car to the unnamed Ford Dealership in Royal Oak and was given a price over 2 times what Wetmore's charged me to repair my car.  They were efficient, professional and most of all HONEST.  For some reason it seems difficult to find an honest and trustworthy mechanic.  They called when they said they would and most importantly, the car was done BEFORE they said it would be done.

Honest, honest, honest! As a woman who has had some dreadful auto mechanic experiences, I am comfortable here.
They have been honest about what needs to be done and what does not need to be done. They have even fixed small problems at no charge. They are my go-to people for auto advice--almost like family. Also, they are honest about the amount of time it will take to fix something, which is so important when one is under time constraints. I have had my car towed over thirty miles to bring it to Wetmores.

There is no appointments, strictly first come first serve, so for service other than simple tires or brakes, you may wait a few days, as I did.  I brought in my car because the TCS light and the engine light were on.  Lights were back on several days after picking up the car. They also did my rear brakes, which were fine.  Guys are friendly and would bring my car here for tires or brakes, but not for engine work.

I wasn't convinced of this when I thought about this and went back and ask them to explain. They told me they had put it on the rack and the alignment was fine. But to convince and satisfy me, they swapped my Left tire for the right and vice versa. Whoa, the car now pulled to the left and my doubts were gone. They saved me from the rear ball joints when all I wanted to know was why my car was pulling. No longer a doubting Thomas after the tire swap. Now a believer.

I just keep going back.

I took the car in because the breaks were squeaking and I needed other maintenance things done (oil change, tire rotaion, wiper blades etc) The mechanic called me quickly the next day and after looking at my breaks told me they were in good condition. I also asked about my air filter (it's on a 2007 Ford Focus) He took the time to call the dealer and do a little research and told me the filter does not need to be changed until approximately $150,000 miles. (can't remember if that's the exact mileage, but in that range) So I ended up just getting the usual maintenance stuff done. I was very pleased with his honesty, his willingness to look into things he wasn't sure about (the air filter) and the fact that he didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. My breaks also stopped squeaking after I took it in. I would definitely take my car there again and would highly recommend this place.

The service was quick and thorough. The car needed a tune-up and thorough safety inspection (we have a baby on the way). I dropped off the car first thing in the morning and caught the bus to work. To my surprise, Wetmore's called within two hours to say the job was done. Friendly place. Check it out.

The overall experience was okay.  Either they missed a hole or didn't adequately seal the hole in the tire.  In fairness I did not return to them for follow-up.

We looked them up on Angie's list. We took the recomended  repair list from Chrsylerand gave it to them. We  expected to get quotes we could compare to the estimate from Chrsyler. Instead when we went bck, they told us they did not htink any of the repirs need to be done at that time and that some were not necessary at any time. So this saved my daughter a lot of money. Pleasantly surprised.
 At no time were we made to feel uncomfortable or that we were putting them out.

I called and was able to take the car right in. They replaced a belt and fixed a leak in a tire caused by a nail. They were professional and had the work done within 2 hours. They accepted a coupon and were very easy to work with. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I have used their services for about thirty years. They do everything from tires, to service, to even the light bulbs being out. They are a family owned business and have an excellent reputation in the area. They are honest and fair and won't try to up sell you on something you don't need.

Quick efficient service.  I found two different coupons that saved me $40 in total and two my surprise they took both of them without problem.

Everything was done right and completed within a day, as usual. I generally take my car to Wetmore's and they are always less expensive than anyone else, the work is done quickly, and the work is done correctly.
