Versatile Unlimited

I can't say enough about Versatile and the work they do. This is the third job that I've hired them for and they are not only on time, but work quickly with more than reasonable pricing. We had a leak following work in the kitchen and after I texted them at 7 am in the morning, they were pulling into my driveway to effect repair before 8. If I could give more than A+++++ I would !

The work went well. Mr. May showed up timely and performed the work as requested. Be that as it may, I asked repeatedly for an invoice and I’ve been unable to get one. Perhaps, I should have requested an invoice before remitting payment. However, now that I’ve remitted payment, I have been unable to get a paid invoice as would be professional and customary for work performed, particularly for a business. I need these items for my records not only for keeping track of income and expenses, but also to have a record of the contacts/contractors that I use for professional services. Because of the fact that I use several different contractors for various tasks, sometimes I forget which contractors were competitively priced, performed excellent work, and what kinds of work they are able to do. The goal is to create a directory of reliable and skilled contractors to use as needed.

Extremely well. Big job was completed amazingly quickly, cheerfully, professionally, and mindful of cost without sacrificing any quality.

Five stars again for Mr. Moore! He arrived on tie as usual, repaired the wall and ceiling with repainting. He also replaced a door knob and repaired one of the drawers in the kitchen whose bottom had fallen out ( I was amazed he was able to repair this.. I had thought we would need a new drawer). He was fast ( as usual) in finishing in three hours and had a great price.

I hired Mr. May originally to partition off part of the basement and paint and paint two accent walls, but my husband decided to change to a smaller project . Mr. May was fine in changing to a smaller project ( many companies will cancel when faced with a small job) and ended up, painting three accent walls,replacing a door knob and putting down exercise flooring in the basement. He also identified a water leak from the roof into one of the bedrooms he was painting. He was able to speak with the Maintenance Co coordinator at my Condo complex and make arrangements to return and make additional repairs. Great job in less than half a day; did I mention great job on painting and I can't believe how wonderful my basement looks!

He took the time to understand exactly what I needed done. He came back following morning to put on 2nd coat of mud for drywall. Brought helpers with him who were also competent, professional and polite. Cleaned up after the job. I will hire Ed again and have already recommended him to friends and family.

The owner Ed May was very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient in listening to what I was trying to do to seal cantilever openings in my house which required removing and replacing and potentially repairing aluminum siding on my mid-60's house. He explain to me the pitfalls in what I was trying to do and potential alternatives. He did not request, but I insisted on paying him a nominal $50 for the time he spent on the phone and in person with me.

He gets things done quickly and securely. He's very dependable, just busy, but he's worth the wait.

Ed and his crew came into a very difficult situation. My bathroom remodel was abandoned half way through by another contractor. Ed agreed to do what many others refused to even consider--finish somebody else's work. Additionally, Ed recognized and repaired issues caused by the other contractor's incompetence. Ed and his crew never let me down. They went above and beyond my initial request, all while being reliable, polite, fast and affordable. I recommend Versatile Unlimited in the strongest possible terms.

It went well.  Not everything was 100% perfect, but that is OK.  It was good enough.  I plan to use them again.

The gentleman I spoke with was Ed.  He responded to my E Mail inquiry very promptly.  After verifying that it was a job he would take on we scheduled the appointment.  On the day we planned on he called from the cement company to make sure he was getting the correct thing.  When he came he and his assistant placed the curb where it needed to be and that was it.  He and his assistant were very nice, and admiring my front yard definitely put them on my good guys list.  I would not hesitate to check with Ed for any additional work I might need to have done.  If it is something he does I would not hesitate to have him back.

It was a great experience.  The team showed up on time and worked very hard.   They were friendly and professional.   I am very happy with the results and plan to use them again.

Great experience. Honest gentlemen and I will definitely use them again. I'm already having them come out and put gutters up on the garage and have a whole list of jobs that need to get done around here. Ed actually noticed that the siding on the front of the house was falling off. I hadn't even noticed it yet because of how high up it was. They do almost all jobs, from small little fixes to big remodeling jobs. So happy I finally found a handyman that answers the phone and actually shows up when he says he will.

Ed arrive on time and he was very courteous and passionate about home repair, he gave me  an estimate and the work was schedule and completed the next morning.
