Would I recommend?? NO WAY!! First pictures are the mess that was left after the installation of the first roof. Had to call twice to finally get someone to come and clean up the mess.. that’s when they called me to tell me a large numbers of nails were popping up and there was a problem with defective shingles. Second batch of pictures shows tarps on brand new roof after only being installed two weeks prior. Shingle company investigated and found there were no defects with the shingles and stated in writing that the issue was improper installation. Owner David Randall continued to go back and forth that it was not their installation causing the roof to look the way it did. Agreed to let them try to remove the bad areas and put new shingles in their place. When the weather finally warmed and snow had cleared the entire roof had areas that looked wavy like bacon. The remove and patch method hadn’t made things any better. It wasn’t until I mentioned taking them to court and multiple texts and face to face discussions over issue that BHI agreed to remove the entire first roof and replace it. Knowing how hard court battles can be with contractors and having no real other option since they weren’t willing to do much else and almost 4 months of dealing with this issue. I reluctantly agreed to let them put a second roof. Part of their agreement that was that they would not warranty the second roof. Well when you’re between a rock and a hard place you hope in the goodness of people and that they will do this job better than any other they have before. Well as of Friday December 14th not even six months from the date it was installed it is already leaking. Contacted David Randall to see if there was anything they were willing to do or help in any way and he said no. So after 10 months and 2 roofs later there is absolutely no way I would recommend this company to anyone. Much more to this story then is said here but we will see how this saga plays out.
