"Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate it and are glad to leave a lasting impression on our customers. If there is anything we can follow up on or do for you, don't hesitate to give us a call! Thank you, again."
Mike Fitspatrick was very helpful, in response to problems encountered. It seemed there was lots of errors done by the rest of the of the people at "T&G". They had a week to reserve the proper equipment. They got the wrong digger first and that slowed them down, when they got to my house, to start to dig. They did not seem to know the scale of the operation. If they knew, they did not inform me, where the digger was going to escape to. It seemed reasonable that the digger leave the way it came in. The digger left by the back part of my lot, over an off street parking pad; after it came in over the neighbors front grass. I got the idea that, that was an oops. They did not communicate to me well where the hole would have to be dug with any specificity, and what parts of the fence needed to be removed.
When I wanted to put a concrete pad in the back of my house lot. I had to submit a drawing with measurements, to the City Zoning Board, of what I wanted to do. It seems reasonable to me I should get the same communication style as I have to give the City of Dearborn.
I had to ask, pry from them, what fence pieces needed to be removed. I mean to say that I used this rating service, "AL" to get a questionable rating, before they even started digging, to get some attention. from "T&G". You might call it site plans. They removed more additional fence, and posts, as the job progressed. If I did not have a rear access to the service ally next to my house, I would have had to repair two fences, not just one. I feared making my next door neighbors, into a group of people who would hate me, while I tried to fix part of my house I had to rattle "T&G's," cage, by getting a message to Angie's List; which then went to a "T&G" boss, for some idea of how my neighbor's fence was going to change. This seemed to add to a general lack of communication on their part, about how the homeowner, me, was to accommodate the contractor. I wondered, what rating to give them?
Never having done this job before on the house. It was nerve racking.
1. Got to Do this to stop damage to the house.
2.Cost.
3. Having to disrupt my neighbors, and their fence.
Having to reinstall a fence that I did not put up, Mostly by my self. I know contractors want large jobs, not just weak excuses to go to someone's house.
Most interesting was the settling needed for the earth on top. When was it ok to start putting up the fence? Was the fence going to collapse as the back yards convulsed? I was left with a huge lump of dirt more than when I started. How is this going to be fixed? If the contractor did work inside my house, he would have had to take all the broken old stuff with him. The stuff that was not the new concrete or the new pipes.
"Sir, I'm so sorry to hear of the poor and miscommunications that took place while we worked at your home these past few weeks along with other frustrations. Thank you for sharing your feedback for us to see fully. Although this project is complete, if there is any way to make it right or make you happy or follow up on anything for you, we want to do that. Please give us a call 248-644-7810."
"Thank you for sharing your feedback, we appreciate it! If there's anything else we can do for you, please don't hesitate to let us know."
"We're so glad you're happy with the work we did at your home. We're always here to help so if there is anything we can do or follow up on for you, be sure to let us know!"
"Thank you for giving us your feedback and the opportunity to make things right. If there is anything else we can follow up on for you, please don't hesitate to let us know. Thank you, again!"
"Thank you for sharing your feedback of your experience. it is important to us. We're sorry you were not happy with the service provided. Indeed it looks like we were at the home a few times when your spouse was present. Sometimes it does take multiple visits but we do understand larger scale issues can be frustrating and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. While at your home the technician noted there could be issues and blockage to traps and could lead to water in the home, however service to rectify that issue was declined. We surely want you to be satisfied and happy with a complete scope of work and offer the opportunity to give us a call back so that we can follow up with you. Thank you again for your feedback and, if there is anything else we can do for you, please do not hesitate to return our call. 248-644-7810."
"Thank you for your feedback. The new owners have held the company for 10 years now and we've much improved in many areas. We thank you for the opportunity to bid on work you had at your home and honor your right to decline service for any reason. Over the years we've only grown with a customer first mindset and hope to regain your confidence. If not, again, we thank you for the opportunity all those years ago."
come to find out the final bill was 200$ because they replaced a trap pipe, apparently. dont know if they asked my dad if it was ok to inflate the price or not, all I know is he has a 200$ bill now.
they also came out previously after the flood to check the furnace. it was already working, so my dad unnecessarily made the appt for them to come. Here, he was socked with I think about a 350$ bill for what should have been a simple inspection. I think they found some part to replace that I think they said was "dirty".
Buyer beware.
"[Members Name] thank you for posting your review, we welcome every chance to evaluate and improve. The unclogging of the drain is $99, however, additional, approved work was done at the home that day. Also, along the with furnace inspection and maintenance that was done following the flood, you are correct, it was working -there was a part replaced on the 50 year old furnace due to scale and carbon build up. If there is any way we can assist or follow up for you, please don't hesitate to give us a call 248-644-7810. We understand your concern and are more than happy to find the best possible solution. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback."
By several failed trials, finally he found that it is the low pressure switch that prohibits the AC to work normally by calling for help, and he adds some refrigerant. It has been almost 4 hours. He did NOT perform a leak check, and charged high diagnostic fee and refrigerant recharging fee.
I hope he did not mess up the circuits.
In all, it is not a good experience, and I would very hesitate to use them again .
