My name is Bill Griffin. I am the owner and an ASE master certified technician of Griffin's Auto Clinic. I am extending a personal invitation to come and experience what quality auto service is at our repair facility. At Griffin's its not about just the cars, its about the customer. My staff and I understand that in these trying times that the last thing you want to have happen is a costly repair. That is why we make sure that your vehicle is in tip-top shape and that you are informed of everything that is going on with your vehicle and that you have a solid game plan as to how to address the issues in a matter of importance. We call this our repair blueprint. It allows you to fix the immediate concerns and decide in the future what to fix as money and time allows. There are no pressure sales here. "I'm very sorry to read this but unfortunately there is one thing lacking in this whole transaction. communication. this customer failed to communicate that there was an issue and not only did we do the repair on the vehicle which proved to be challenging with many broken bolts from rust we did perform our service to a tee and the vehicle was test driven by myself personally as all vehicles are for quality control. it is a 2003 vehicle and the possibility of another issue is highly probable. we advised that it only needed two control arms yet the customer insisted to do all four do to the age and that made sense to him henceforth the $1300 Bill. we drove him home and picked him up and even arranged for him to have a recall done for his airbag light that we diagnosed and researched it was a free repair for him. had he called us or followed up after our courtesy call and said he was having problems out of state I could of informed him of our nationwide warranty and guided him through the process. in this case we are human and mistakes can happen or parts be defective but not giving us our due diligence and giving us a call does not warrant this type of review. the customer needs to accept responsibility for not following up and have a temperature tantrum then lashing out after the fact. we are here to help and provide honest service. you can't fix an issue if you aren't made aware of it. had the customer of contacted me he would of been taken care of promptly and still have his Infiniti.... communication is key and we at Griffins unfortunately have no control over this circumstance. again I'm truly sorry you feel let down but im more disappointed that you felt a phone call was not worth the time to correct the issue.."

Bill, who is the owner, let me bring it in after I called him and explained I was fixing to purchase the car but needed him to look at it for me. He was thorough and told me one little detail about the fender having been put back on but it was done ok. Aside from that, he felt everything else looked good. He did this quickly enough that I could get back to the dealership and get everything processed before closing time. I appreciated that very much because I know he is very busy and it was late afternoon before I could bring the car to him.
He is honest about car repairs and his assessment of my old car helped me to make a good decision in getting another car instead of doing repairs. I came to understand why the bumper might have come off, after a few times of trying to pull up close to park, but not too close. Fortunately, the bumper is still on the car, though each time, I say whew :-). This car has a very low to the ground bumper and there is no visible hood through the windshield :-). Inspite of it all, I am happy with this car and it runs great.
One more thing, waiting in the waiting area was pleasant and friendly. The owners wife was there at the entrance with a friendly welcome and assistance. She was helpful with questions and didn't mind talking about my concerns for car repair.
I am glad to have found out about this company from Angie's List and very happy to have found a car repair shop that I can trust.
