Zach and Steve arrived promptly to clean my dryer vent, which is in an inconvenient location. They explained in detail what the job would require and the approximate cost. It was a messy job to do but they did it thoroughly and efficiently, and completely cleaned up after themselves. Zach and Steve were polite, friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will hire them again in the future.

Mike Zalac was prompt and professional. The work was completed surprisingly quickly. Mike is very personable. We priced 5 services who quoted fixed fees from $90-195.00. Dryer Vent Wizard uses a written estimate process and a $39.00 evaluation fee. The fee is waived if you accept and proceed with the work, but you will not be able to price shop them in advance. We selected them for their singular focus on the dryer vent service vs other companies for whom its part of a larger set of service offerings. We ended up paying more.

I was able to call and make an appointment with Dryer Vent Wizard for the day after I made the call. The company charges $39 to come out and provide an estimate. When the service man arrived at my home, my wife was home, while I was at work. The gentleman explained everything to her in detail, from start to finish. She was able to call me and let me know what the man had to say, and he allowed her to hand him the phone to answer some of my questions. He told us our dryer vent did need to be cleaned out, but he also noticed that the piece connecting the dryer to the actual outside vent was below code and should be replaced. He also noticed that the bottom of the dryer had some lint buildup and quoted a price to do that as well. He was not pushy about any of the additional services; he presented them as options that we could take or leave without issue. We agreed to do all suggested services, and he decided to clean out the bottom of the dryer free of charge, which was very nice. I believe all services were complete within an hour, even with the pouring-down rain he had to work in. The service man was very easy to talk to and understand, and he was extremely helpful. We were very happy with the service this company provided, and we will most likely have him come back in a year or so to take care of our dryer vents again.

Mike was on time, polite and knowledgeable. Also used up to date equipment. I was surprised to see the amount of lint that came from the vents. Mike spent over 2 hours replacing the vent screws with heat tape, cleaning inside the vents and areas in and around the dryer, replacing the outside vent baffle, and cleaning up afterwards.
