 + -1 moreThey were very good and the workers were fine. We will be doing more work with them in the fall. They are now our electrician and we use them as needed. Fall of 2011 they also installed a generator and now maintain it. Danny is great and I have the impression very well respected for his knowledge and skill.
Description of Work: C F Electrical fixed a lamp post and extended a 220 line in the garage.

 + -1 moreThis was my second time using this company. They were listed on the electrical contractors list at my city's building inspecting office. Dan is very professional and attentive. He understood that I was very busy and just needed the work off my plate. He handled it and kept me up to speed with the process.
Description of Work: The City of Southfield required an electrical permit to be pulled to install safety switches/outlets in my kitchen and on my garbage disposal. An electrician from the company pulled the permit to do the work on my home. They coordinated a time to make the repairs to the home. They finished the work to the electrical inspector's specifications. Dan phoned me when the work was complete to ask if I had questions or comments. I was billed for the service.

 + -1 moreI called C.F. Electrical because they had done the circuit work in 1992 (according to a label on the electrical panel, I did not own the house then). Although it had been years since the original circuit install, Daniel the owner returned my call at night and came out the next day. He evaluated the problem and traced it to a plumber's failure to replace the ground connection when plumbing was changed in 2003. The short didn't show up until now. He repaired it promptly for nothing. I didn't expect for this to be at no cost but was very grateful. Normally his service is $85/hour (reasonable for electrician) but he honored his previous work even though another trades person had altered it. I will definitely use him again for a paid project to upgrade the circuits on this older house.
Description of Work: I had a short (along with arcing and buzzing/popping) due to a ground wire being disconnected from plumbing. The short appeared after a power outage in the area.
