The cats were fed, litter-boxes cleaned and both cats were played with.

This is the 3rd time we have had our cats here for an extended period of time and they are always well cared for by the staff. They interact with on a daily basis and give them time outside their rooms to exercise and play. They are very diligent with specific feeding instructions or medicine if needed. I would definitely recommend this kennel.

Excellent service from making the reservation to picking up my cat. See above for details. I had used Backdoor Friends to board a previous cat twice before, and he loved the place also. The setting is quiet, and the staff is totally devoted to catering to cats and their favorite activities. The shop's play area has scratching posts, and I believe areas for climbing. I was confident that the staff would be able to handle any issues that arose during my absence.

I called about a week before my move to schedule Sadie's boarding. The person on the phone was very friendly and helpful. Since it was the first time Sadie boarded there, they needed her immunization and flea treatment records. They asked a lot of questions about Sadie and even gave her a room with a window, since she loves to watch out the window.Backdoor Boarding facilities are in a "Kitty Hotel". Each room has a cute little bed with a soft cushion, food and litter areas. All doors enter into a common area where kitties can get out of their rooms and play. I brought Sadie's food, treats and toys. They provided all the rest.When I picked up Sadie they had a little paper filled out about her visit: eating habits, health issues (none), her behavior, etc. Since Sadie is an only kitty, they went into her room to give her attention, which she really liked. They also gave me a stamped card for a free day's boarding after it's filled. The owner and staff are very nice and friendly.Sadie would rather not take "vacations", but she was a very pampered kitty while she was there!

The facilities at the "Cat Hotel" are awesome and the staff were wonderful. Each cat has their own room for the most part. They have some with windows that the cat's can look out into the store to see what's happening. Our cat loved this. They give you a Hotel Guest evaluation and summary of any special services you order. It's the first time we've ever left her where we felt like she might enjoy it. I recommend this facility to everyone. It's just the best....

My husband was very nervous about leaving our two kittens there while we went to Florida. Our girl kitty was the first to want to leave their guest room to play in the lobby/entertainment area, but after a day, they were both happy to be out and around. They played with everyone and everything. They climbed on everything including the staff. When we picked them up we received a report on everything from their eating, "pooping", and socializing skills. Overall I can't think of a nicer place for them when we're away.

The rooms and facilities are nice and clean. The staff is good at learning the temperament of each cat and providing the appropriate level of attention. My cats were happy and well cared for. They provide a detailed evaluation of your cat's stay so you know how much they ate, played, etc.

Owner (Anne) is committed to cat rescue, boarding, etc. Her knowledge and experience was valuable to me and I make an effort to stay in touch and get her advice on any cat issue. I was impressed with how calmly she handled my tempermental cat and how much attention he got on a daily basis. The store itself is a fun place to shop!
