Extremely expensive. $455 to change a cartridge on a shower. The "invoice" shows one line item: "Rebuild Tub/Shower Faucet: Replace the necessary stems, seats, and washers to ensure proper operation of faucet." I watched the job - there were no washers involved. If "rebuild" means to take the cover plate and handle off to replace the cartridge, and then screw them back on, then I guess that would apply here. But my definition of "rebuild" is drastically different. The technician was done in about 45 minutes. The cartridges cost about $58 online - so that works out to about $10 / minute.

Not the cheapest, but fair pricing and excellent quality. Old original AC was blowing fuses, so I had them replace with a new 16SEER Trane unit, gave me a few options, and I didn't feel an "upsell". Were out 2 days later, Technicians did a great and clean install, hauled everything away, and were done in a few hours. With the current COVID situation, appreciate the advance call/screening and the technicians wearing masks, and even doing a duct and work area disinfectant cleaning after they finished. Communication from their team throughout the process was excellent, and we enjoyed the humor added to their technician "introduction" text messages.

The plumber determined that it would be $150 to "clean" the sump pump well. However, his definition of "clean" was to scoop out some (not all) of some silt/dirt that had accumulated in the bottom of the well. No effort was made to clean the actual pump, but they did try to up-sell us to a new sump pump. I was at work when this went down and was highly dissatisfied upon seeing the actual "work" for myself, and subsequently spending several hours finishing the cleaning myself. I've attached pictures of the condition of the well and sump pump. As you can see in the picture of the pump, it was caked with build-up, which I eventually cleaned off myself using a screwdriver. I reported my dissatisfaction using their own review tool online, and a "project manager" contacted me. He apologized for the dissatisfaction and we settled on a fair resolution that involved a partial refund. They made a proper effort to resolve the situation, and even offered to send someone else out for a few quotes that I had requested that were not completed by the plumber. That being said, I will not be using them again for any plumbing needs. However I may consider them for non-plumbing services due to their responsiveness.

I scheduled a visit the night before online, but somehow the message get relayed in a timely fashion. Once they arrived everything went as planned and finished in just under an hour.

They provide both heating and plumbing, and I think I used them for both at one time. They were very good. I had a hot water, in the winter time it takes a long time for the hot water to got to the upstairs bathroom. They put in a pump system to fix that issue. We also used them to put an electrical in the closet to automatically turn on in the closet. They were good. I did not shop around a whole lot for the price because that was the second time I used them. They showed up and were good in the first one so we just went a head and used them the second time around. It was a couple hundred dollars each time. In ever category they were good that is why we used them the second time.

I've used Danboise on twice before and happy both times. Made the appointment on line 2 days prior for an 8-10 AM time slot and was promptly called to confirm. Day of the appointment I called when it was apparent the time would not be met and was told I was "next" and my appointment was really a "8 AM - 12 PM slot." I had arranged my schedule for a noon departure, so this now became an inconvenience. The technician arrived at 11:25 AM was neat, professional and promptly repaired and replaced the necessary pieces. No beefs with him, but I did email back my frustration. Mr. Kidd apologized for the mis communication and offered a partial credit from our bill for my inconvenience. Overall, I was very impressed with work performed and how my quickly and professionally my complaint was handled.

I would recommend them that they're efficient and professional and reasonable. The prices that I have paid them over the years have always been reasonable. I've used many times. I use them a lot.

The price of my replacement part was way out of line. A commercial capacitor is $40 - $60 and I was charged $320. In all the comments on line I could find this price was only associated with the word “rip-off”. My service provider was nice, polite and professional and actually showed up early.

Just one plumber showed up. It took him less than an hour to do the bare minimum. He didn't do the job completely. He found there was a leak in the washer and another was just a matter of tightening a joint. He charged me an exorbitant price.

The most amazing thing!  I received a check from AJ Danboise for the total amount of the "service" call.  I am most impressed with their action.  I have never had this experience.  I was willing to pay for the time of the visit, if only that I had committed to do so.
In addition. the company wrote and excellent letter.
