I've been using A1 Comfort Control for my HVAC needs for over 20 years.  Having just moved into a house with a 19 year old furnace, I had them out to check and clean.  Jack (one of the owners) provided information about this particular model and design.  Over the next several months we've had at least three incidents where the furnace would not come on until you reset it (turned it off and on).  That spooked us a bit, and given the age of the furnace we decided to have A1 Comfort Control provide us a quote.
Jack came over and discussed the different options available and what was appropriate given our specific home.  Steve (the other owner) arranged to come over and take measurements.  It took a while to get the date scheduled (they were busy with commercial heat outages), but we were able to select a date that I would be home.
The two workers that showed up were very professional and friendly.  They put out a cloth cover on the path between the front door and the basement  door.  They answered all my questions (and I tend to ask a lot of questions).  The installation took up most of the day, so we had the fireplace going to provide some heat.  They did a very professional job and cleaned up afterwards.  I was entitled to an updated thermostat but they didn't have enough wire, so they will install it when they return to install the air conditioner.
Overall, I highly recommend A1 Comfort Control.  It is difficult to find contractors you can trust, but I'm glad I found A1 Comfort Control.

I've been using A1 Comfort Control for over 20 years.  I just moved into a new home (built in 1995) and needed some plumbing work.  I also needed a furnace clean/check and when setting that up I was notified that they did plumbing as well.  
Jack (one of the owners) did a number of miscellaneous plumbing jobs (updating toilet fixtures, eliminating water softener, etc.).  He has many years of experience and did excellent work.
He also checked and clean the 19 year old furnace and gave me some information about the particular model and design.
Overall, I highly recommend A1 Comfort Control for any of your HVAC and plumbing work.

I've been dealing with A1 Comfort Control for over 20 years and now on my third house.  I had a few other professionals at my home for other estimates and they all seem to mention their concern with the water heater.  I contacted A1 Comfort Control and they provided an estimate and we scheduled the work.
The technician (who previously did the AC check) was very professional.  Jack (one of the owners) brought over the new hot water heater and we reviewed the job to make sure it was what was agreed upon.  They did have an incident where some significant water was released but it did not damage any of my property and was easily cleaned up.  Otherwise, the job went very smoothly and the water heater has been functioning flawlessly.
While A1 Comfort Control might not be the least expensive option, I trust them to do the job right.  It is difficult to find contractors that you trust, so I am thankful that I have one for HVAC work.  I highly recommend them.

Went very smoothly. Each time was a bit of an emergency, and he got there promptly, fixed the problem, cleaned everything up-- AC and furnace were both pretty spotless and cranking out the cold/hot air immediately. The guy knows what he is doing and he's good at his job. Price was more than fair. I should also say that they run a pretty tight ship. Very clean, professional, and reasonable. Highly recommended.

All their servicemen are great; they are very knowledgeable, they take time to explain what's going on and what they are going to be doing, and the owners will come by and double check it.

I've dealt with them for 25 years. They have replaced my air conditioning. They replaced my furnace. They've been here for emergencies. They're terrific. They've always been there when I needed them. They give outstanding service and are very knowledgeable. I get an outstanding value for what I pay them, so I've been very happy.

A-1's guys were on time and finished the job on schedule. They cleaned up well after the job was finished and were very professional. One of the guys even moved and replanted some plants while installing the air conditioner. One minor gripe was that they didn't pull a permit which made us ineligible for one of the state heating and cooling rebates. Overall, I'd use them again and will call them for service in the future.

I don't remember how much we spend each time they come out, but I am pleased with the price. It is quite good. We keep using them because they do a good job. My furnace works fine and correctly. They are on time and I can schedule. They are nice. I am happy with them, especially the last time when the guy explained to me how the air flows in the house and how you can get air in some parts. It was very interesting. I was very pleased with them. I will continue using them in the future.

My experience with them was fine. They were here when they said they were going to be here and they even called 15 minutes before the technician was going to show up. They completed the work quickly. The price seemed pretty standard but I didn’t make much of a comparison.

They have customer service and gave different options to other issues that may occur in the future. On second visit, a technician came to check the dimensions of the old air cleaner that did not work anymore, explained us the different choices we had to replace it and gave us an estimate. A few days later we called to order the media filter and it was installed maybe a week later. Each person we saw was very knowledgeable and helpful. The only small complaint I'd have is that they were late for both appointments but they called before coming to check if it was still ok with me and it was easy to reschedule for later the same day. We've been asking TGIS Company for two years now to check our furnace and we're very happy with them.

They are always there when I need them for any issues with my furnace. I think that they are just wonderful. I know that they also handle other things such as plumbing and air conditioning units.

I was very satisfied with the installation. Timely and clean. It was the sales end that I am not happy with. I asked all the questions for the furnace I wanted and received all praises on the model I finally purchased. Once in and working it was a different story. When I questioned my salesman about it all I got was "oh well. You get what you pay for." I was also told he would handle everything with the city (permit and letting them know an inspection was needed). Well, after a few months of hearing nothing I called the city to find nothing was filed. So if you are looking for honest salespeople, I would recommend going elsewhere.

They were timely, professional and I would definitely recommend this company to others.
