1 800 New Look has put roofs on 2 of our rentals, our former home and a partial roof on our current home. The workers have always been very professional and the owners Lisa and Kurt always go above and beyond to make sure the job is done with excellence. I could not imagine having a better experience, and I would highly recommend them .

The company was prompt to get the process going with our insurance company, I had to do nothing but sign some paperwork and everything was handled seamlessly. They were very professional and knowledgeable. Hopefully won’t need them again but if I do they will be the first to be called.

We received a new roof and gutters through 800 New Look. They got it approved through our insurance company and we couldn't have been happier with them. They were super clean and quick. There was a small issue but as soon as they were informed they were out to fix it.

It was awful. They sent us the wrong color of window initially. I had a terrible time getting them to respond and fix it. Their communication with me was very poor. They did not seem to be very professional in dealing with any of the issues.

My more accurate rating would be between an A- and B+. As far as the roofing is concerned, I think they did a very good but we won't know if our leaking problem is truly solved until we go through another winter. On the plus side, besides what we believe is a good job on the roofing, we were impressed that the salesperson, the office managers we talked with over the phone, and the foreman and supervisor during the job were all polite, listened to what I had to say and responded appropriately to my concerns. The price seemed reasonable if not a bargain (but see below). They did a reasonably decent job cleaning up after the roofing was finished. Also they partially met our request to compensate us for some damage that occurred to our ceilings inside during the roofing. When I called the attention of the supervisor to the damage after the job he offered for us to hold back a small amount of payment ($140) until we settled the issue. Here are some of the some of the details that we were not particularly happy with. 1) Their ad contained a so-called coupon for a $1000 discount but this seems to be just a come on gimmick as estimates from a competitor without such a coupon with almost identical. 2) We noticed at the end of the job, there were at least three complete packages of shingles that had not been used and were thrown into the dumpster. Obviously they over estimated how many packages were needed for our job and clearly we paid for these unused shingles since they were part of the calculation of the price we agreed in advance for the roofing. 3) We had some delicate plants close to the house where it was likely there would be traffic of workers going back and forth. I anticipated they were in danger so I explicitly showed the area to the salesman when signing the initial contract and a supervisor who made a pre-visit and explained my concern. The latter said they would lean a board over them to protect them. However on the day the actual roofing occurred I noticed that no board was placed over them and by the time I finally got them to do so they had already damaged them. 4) Although this may have been unavoidable, large cracks in the drywall and other related damage occurred on the interior ceilings directly under the roof. I showed the damage to the supervisor on the job. He said that the company would send someone to repair it. However I don't think the office managers authorized this. In any event, to expedite the repair I called and spoke with the office manager who agreed that if I arranged for the repairs myself to waive the $140 I had held back but not to pay for the actual amount that it would cost. The manager said that it wasn't their policy to be responsible and that the supervisor had been incorrect to offer to repair the damage.
