Great experience. Jermell courteous and professional, took time to explain their process. Assistant Arnoldo also professional and friendly. They sized up the load, made a plan to be efficient since we had stuff in its basement and garage. Bulky items from basement were handled carefully to avoid wall damage. They even swept the garage when complete, an unexpected and appreciated surprise! Easy to recommend, especially with 20% coupon.

Crew was on time, efficient, and friendly. Stay focused and solved problems.

I found 1-800-Got-Junk on Angie's List. Their website had hot tub removal. That's a difficult service to find. They came out for a free estimate. Unlike the one other service I contacted, they could remove it without sawing it apart. That would have meant a mess of fiberglass fragments and installation.  Very dangerous for the dog and us. We agreed on the price. (The hot tub company would have charged $750.00.) They said they would be here Tuesday between 11:00am and 1:00pm with a four man crew.
They called on Tuesday to say they'd be here at 12:30pm. They were right on time. The only problem was they only sent three people, not four, for a 600 lb.+ hot tub. They said they'd take that up with management. I was worried that they'd hurt themselves. They decided to roll the tub through the backyard grass. It somewhat fell apart and a debris trail was on the lawn. When they got to the cement they put a dolly under the tub and wheeled it to the truck. Somehow they muscled it up and in to the dump truck.
Then they went back into the yard and picked up the debris and sweep the patio.
They certainly earned their money. But four people would have been much safer.

Very good experience! They were very pleasant and very careful and very prompt.

They were great. Iam moving so there was a lot of Junk down the basement that I didn't want anymore. Ryan and Brian said they would be there by 9 am they were here right on time and were gone by 10am. Everything cleaned up neat. They were so nice I would use them again and have already told numerous people about them.

The service itself was excellent.  The workers kept me updated about arrival time and made it in the appointment window.  They were friendly and quick working.
My complaint is that the online appointment system, while easy to use, does not give the pricing.  You are told of price on the arrival of truck.  It was more expensive than expected, given what I had heard from neighbors.   So, gather estimates as I should have!

Two men were very efficient and professional. I had amassed what I wanted removed in the LR and DR. They said I could have left it in the cellar for them to remove. My only criticism was the price which was $283 for a quarter (of the truck) load.

1-800-Got-Junk has a great setup on their website for you to see when they are available in your area for a pick up. I thought this was very convenient to choose the window of time I wanted them to arrive. The two men who came from the Farmington, MI location were punctual, professional and friendly. I would recommend the 1800GotJunk folks from this location. I live in Ann Arbor. They loaded up their truck very fast and the price was very fair. I didn't have an idea of what it would cost beforehand b/c they give you an estimate on-the-spot. I thought it was definitely worth the convenience and to have someone else pick up the heavy items to discard. Thank you!
