Weberman Construction, LLC

We contacted Weberman Construction to request a quote for replacing four wrought iron columns supporting our front entry overhang with four fiberglass columns. We also asked to have two skylights installed in our family room. Weberman Construction was the first company we called because of their positive reviews on Angie's List and Yelp. Max Weberman arrived on time for the appointment, was personable, confirmed his company could complete the work, then took pictures of the existing pillars and family room ceiling. Regarding the skylights, we asked for a specific brand that came highly recommended from another premium window company. Max replied, "We've only installed five skylights before. We've never had someone request a specific skylight brand, but I'm sure we could follow the manufacturer instructions and do it." After ten minutes, Max left our house and said he would be in contact with us after he puts a quote together. He was provided with two cell phone numbers and an e-mail address (spelled and correctly repeated back by Max) prior to his departure. Four business days later, I contacted Max to inquire if the quote had been completed after not receiving any communication. I was informed that the quote had not been started yet. I informed Max that we had other competing businesses come to our home AFTER Max had been out and the other businesses already responded with a quote for the same job. I kindly informed Max that we're making a decision on the provided quotes over the weekend and asked if they would be able to submit their quote within two business days. Max said, "Yes. I'll gather everything tonight and e-mail to you tomorrow." It has now been two weeks since our last contact and we still haven't received a quote from Weberman Construction. Their lack of communication, poor customer service and inexperience with skylight installation caused us to go with a competing company. We would never recommend Weberman Construction to any of our family, neighbors or friends.

Max and his crew were very professional. Everything was finished perfectly. I gave Max a key to our home, while our kitchen floor was being fixed and stained.

Having only worked with one other general contractor before, and not being happy with them, I have to say Max and his guys did a great job and are nice, very professional and really put in full work days. They kept me informed of progress, problems, and where I could save money. I thought that the time frame they laid out was reasonable. And when I put in a change order, Max was very easy to talk to.
