The only reason I'm giving one star is because there isn't an option for zero. These people are thieves they will take your money and not show up to do the work they've been taking advantage of my elderly mother for the past 3 years the owner David is a coward and a thief because he won't return the phone calls I am going to sue this company I see there's other reviews stating the same as what I'm saying I encourage you all to file a lawsuit against them I'll pay the filing costs we need to rid our community of thieves that hide behind a company name and that is what Uncle Froggy's is

By far the most unprofessional company I’ve ever worked with. I would give 0 stars if I could. It’s hard to decide where to start but let’s go with the fact that I paid for 4 cuts up front cause that’s what they ask to start the season. They did 2 cuts and then didn’t show up the following week. Not to mention, one of their employees broke 3 of my light posts on that 2nd cut and tried to hide it by shoving them back into the ground. Luckily I caught it all on camera. They also left a complete mess and didn’t clean a thing on both cuts. Dead grass everywhere. I was told I would get credited for 2 cuts and they would buy me new light posts. After not showing up the following week I was asked what happened and they said they were short on employees cause of Covid and would come the next day. So I said no problem and asked if I would get my new light posts. They told me not this week because their loser owner named Dave had to buy them himself (he had a week to do it already). The following day I asked what time they would come and they said afternoon. About 45 min later I received an email telling me that they can no longer serve me and they are completely canceling my service which makes 0 sense at all. How can you tell me “we will be there later today” and then decide to completely write me off when almost all lawn companies already have their books full and just leave me in the dust with no one to cut my lawn when it’s already longer than normal since they didn’t show up. The reason is they realized how much they completely messed up and didn’t want to have to cut my lawn twice for free (even though they told me I had 2 lawn cut credits) and they didn’t want to buy me new light posts. Absolutely horrible company and I will recommend everyone I know to never use them for any services.

The crew was professional, did an excellent job with design recommendation and installation,also aligning sidewalk to an asphalt driveway. The crew did a great job with clean up and care of surrounding flowerbeds.

One of the best experiences. Dave, Antonio and the whole crew are professional, responsive, efficient and knowledgable. Dave made sure that we got what we needed and guided us thru the entire process. He also helped us save money where it made sense. The onsite crew...true craftsman. From first dig to complete 3.5 days. We couldn't be happier.

Owner does not have respect or appreciation for long term customers who give the company repeat business.
After 6+ years of repeat business, snow plow service was discontinued without any notice, no letter sent out to
notify customer that service was discontinued. Very unprofessional - no respect or courtesy for long term customers.

They use a lot of common sense when they work. They timed everything and arranged it so that I always had access to entering and leaving my house, even while they were in the midst of working.
Their teamwork is truly remarkable. Antonio, the supervisor, guides the other members of the crew and they work peacefully and efficiently. They clean up after themselves every step of the way. I was never inconvenienced.

They come out pretty regularly and are fast and efficient and do a nice job of cutting and edging the lawn. Their office staff is a bit less responsive -- it took some time to get an initial quote and to get monthly billing set up. Overall we are happy with the service.

Such teamwork and perfectionism I have never before seen. They were careful about checking the depth of the gas main which MISS DIG had identified, they were careful about the electrical wire that ran from my house to the outdoor lantern light. They dug that area by hand to find the wire and carefully bury it beneath the gravel layer, which goes down before the concrete.
They worked cooperatively with Piedmont Concrete with whom they relate very well.
Antonio was the Supervisor of the job. There were 3 people working under him.
The boss and owner of the company, David Gaydek, explains every step of the process before any contract is signed. He does not put pressure on the client. He is patient and addresses all concerns.
Other jobs they have done for me:
They mow my lawn weekly in the summer and plow my snow in winter.
They replaced the shingles on my roof.
They disassembled a rotting deck, planted grass in its place, and created new steps.
I will be using this company again.

Would have kept using them, but they moved out of our area. They said they didn't have enough customers up this was. But there were a number of neighbors who used them. If they would have scheduled us all on the same day I don't see why that would have been bad for them.

They did a good job. They did come out about maybe 2 years ago to give me an estimate for some more pavers but they never got back to me. The work that they did was fine.

Uncle Froggy's arrives AFTER the snow has stopped. That's important because the consumer only pays for 1 visit (push) per snow fall.
My particular garage door is on the side of the driveway (not at the end) so the driver gets out of his truck and shovels the snow away from the garage door before plowing.
In the future I will sell my snow blower and hire Uncle Froggy's.

I went with the lowest bid. I didn't think they were very professional. I thought I should have had more details up front, or a more detailed contract. I didn't pick the color of the bricks until the day they came out to lay them down. I thought I should have been able to pick out the color of the bricks before the day they laid them. I was disappointed in the way the bricks look after about a month's time. The color is beginning to fade with white spots on them.

"After the member first notified us with her concern about the appearance of her brick pavers we immediately went to inspect them ourselves. We saw no issue with the bricks. In fact, we thought her patio looked beautiful and were proud to post pictures in our portfolio. We informed the member of our assessment and offered to contact the company that makes the bricks for her if she was still not satisfied. They offer a lifetime warranty. We never heard back from the member, so we believed our reassurance that the bricks looked great had resolved the issue and did not take the matter to the brick company. We were shocked to receive the complaint through Angie’s List. In an attempt to fix the problem on our own we went ahead and contacted the brick company and explained the situation. A representative from their office went out to look at her new patio the same day. After meeting with the member, the representative informed us that he saw no problem with the bricks either. The issues the member found with her pavers are just a part of the product she chose. The fading she described of the bricks is intentional. Each brick is made to have a smooth transition from a dark charcoal on one end to a light grey on the other. When the member chose her bricks she was provided with color catalogues with pictures from our providers. We did not lay the bricks the same day; the pavers were purchased the day after she selected them from the options. Until we received the Angie’s List complaint we were unaware that she was displeased with the process of picking her bricks. Had she informed us, we would have been more than happy to give her more time with the selection process. It seems as though there have been a few misunderstandings between Uncle Froggy’s and the member. We sincerely apologize to the member for any inconvenience she may have experienced. We would be pleased to help her if she chooses to purchase a different brick that has the appearance she is looking for."

Dave, the owner, did a great job listening to what we wanted. He offered some suggestions and collaborated on the final scope. Uncle Froggy was adaptable. The work was underway when we decided to change some of the plants. We were able to substitute a dogwood for a weeping cherry and removed some of the smaller shrubs. The work crew was courteous, well organized and cleaned up after themselves.

I got a couple of estimates on doing the work and I liked this particular fellow that came out to the house. I did a rough sketch of what I was looking for and we went back and forth with it, making a couple of revisions. Which helped get the price down a bit and he was perfectly willing to work with me that way. When we were finished deciding on the patio I gave him the go ahead, and we went ahead to do the work.
