Description of Work: The provider gave excellent consulting when we were deciding whether or not to rebuild or remodel. He helped us reach the decision to build and they handled the entire project. The owner of the company stepped in and made sure everything was done accordingly.

+ 0 moreWhile their pricing was a little bit higher than other estimates, they were very conscientious and we haven’t had any problems at all with the work.
Description of Work: They replaced all 16 of our windows and siding for us. The window work was completed in about three days and the siding work was also completed in about three days.

+ -1 moreFrom Start to finish Pine, and subcontractors they used showed up on time, worked the schedule and were true professionals. The quality of work has been top notch. They have thier in-house rough guys who were the best. They were here when they said they would be, the kept us informed, and kept the jobsite nice and clean when they left for the day. Every crew (except drywall) has been with Pine for a long time, so they have good working relationships and keep to the schedule. Joe and Lou were out often to make sure it was going well and treated the job like it was thier own home. The Girls in the office were on top of schedule, very helpful with questions and communications. During construction there were only very small issues and Pine was reasonable and we worked it out and everyone was satisfied. We could have gone with a compeditor for the lowest price, but we had more confidence in Pine that we would the job done right. Were were not dissapointed. Pine brings experiance, honesty, quality, workmanship, and delivers ontime within budget, so we highly reccomend these guys.
Description of Work: 1200 square foot 2nd floor addtion - Ranch to Colonial.

+ -1 morePressured during the sales process with alot of promises. Luckily I documented everything, but then when I tried to hold them to what they agreed to, they continually tried to do less than what was quoted. It was exhausting, but I stuck to my guns and refused to pay uness they made good on their rough build out. All of their estimates for finish work were way low. We initally estimated 50,000 to complete the project and I ended up at 70,000. To be fair I did add about 7,000 in upgrades, but $15,000 over budget was too much for all the hassel.
Description of Work: Overall estimate for two additions adding about 500 square feet. Pine Building did the rough build out and then we managed the finish work with vendors initally recommended by Pine Building.

+ -1 moreThese guys are recommended by Glenn Haege? Called Pine Building for the first of several projects- none of them cheap. They seemed okay but once we made them think outside the box on ONE item, it was clear they had no interest in the job. Mind you, we gave them the specs on the product from that product's company as well as instructions on how to install. No matter. If it wasn't their way- suggesting the omission of that product ($1,000 spent with no return) and purchasing a lesser expensive, undesirable alternative (easier for them)- they had no interest and were not capable of hiding that fact. In the long run they wasted 90 minutes of our time but saved us a lot of stress and disappointment.
Description of Work: The only came out for an estimate.

Description of Work: they were hired to remodel my small kitcfhen. never would give a finish date even though they were asked every time they came to collect the next check. we were assured that no work would be started unless the material was here in our garage and the workers were ready to start. we signed with them at the end of april and it is the middle of july . basically all they needed to do was new cupboards, new floor, some new electrical, and install new sink and drain. install new microwave. the demo was done and we did not here from them for going on 3wks. then not again until they were ready for another check. when they installed our floor they broke our tile that was by the front door and also the light that hung over our dining room table. i discovered this when i came home from work. they never came over or called to explain what happened, but snuck back into my home without my permission to try and fix the light acting as if it never happened. till this daay there was no apology just kept telling my son what a wonderful job they did for glenn haegey (the master handyman). my response was this is my home and your not doing a good job or how you promised. all in all i would run real fast from any offer or promise they make. my research has shown me that i over paid for this mess by at least $3000. a very expensive lesson.

Description of Work: excuses, excuses, excuses. That sums things up. The overall finished product was good, just getting to that point was stressful. Many mistakes were made, which made me feel like I had to do the job of the general contractor.

+ 0 moreAfter reading some great things about Pine Building, I filled out their website application for a Siding job for my home. Pine did not contact me, so after 3 days I called them. I was told they are not interested in doing a Siding job...they want to do building, additions, etc. Pine should not offer siding as an option on their web site application if they don't in fact want to do siding jobs. Also, common courtesy would have been to call or email me and inform me of their lack of interest in the job. They seem to have good grades on A. L. but if this is how they treat their customers....buyer beware.
