Critter Control

They were referred to us by Orkin Pest Control because what we had was a raccoon. Even though Orkin is a pest control, it doesn't deal with wildlife so they referred me to their sister company which is also a subsidiary of theirs and that was Critter Control. Because of the holiday weekend, we were kind of caught in the twilight zone but they got out as quickly as they could. They weren't even referred to me until the Tuesday after so they were out the next day. They did the traps and by that night, we could tell that the trap in the attic had caught something and when he came out, sure enough, and we haven't had any issues since. I have also referred them to 2 other people that I knew were having wildlife issues, one had a skunk under their porch. I definitely referred them because I happen to know about the issues so when he was here he said they take care of the wildlife, Orkin takes care of smaller pests like mice, ants, spiders, and those kinds of stuff. They were reasonable. It was $150 to come out and check everything out. He never figured out how it got in or how it was getting back and forth because he said things are sealed pretty tightly, but we definitely have something in there because when he was in my attic, he could see the paw prints in the insulation, but he didn't see the critter when he was up there that's why he baited the traps. Sure enough by 10 o'clock that night, we heard the commotion in the trap that was in the attic and called them. They were out by 10 o'clock the next morning and they took it away.

It went well. We are pleased with how it turned out.

He did not charge me anything because he did not find anything to take care of but he was really nice. He looked up in the attic and was here for 20 minutes. We said that we would give him a good recommendation but we just have not gotten around to it yet.

I had a good experience in dealing with them. I thought I had a animal in the attic and they came and looked around and put a trap and they didn't say anything. The guy that came out was very, very nice but I think I felt we could have held off a little bit before having him come because I don't think there was anything actually there. I had only heard the noise one time. He's personality wise and giving you plenty of information and he's very knowledgeable.
