They schedule ahead of time and come within a few hour window. I'm on a tri-season schedule. The first time they come inside and spray the baseboards, set a few bait traps and place granules around the foundation. They do a good job of telling you what needs to be done outside to keep the problems to a minimum.

Rats in the attic. Very friendly. The came out, put in poison in the attic. Did an inspection around the house and suggested improvements to prevent this happening. We still heard sounds after a week. They came out again and put down more poison. That stopped the issue.
