Difficulty in setting up the appointment as they have your car for an entire day and they don't offer any sort of shuttle or referral service for a car. When picking it up, it was found to be running for at least 30 minutes in the parking lot while I traveled to pick it up. The carpets were well-cleaned and the interior looked good, but the outside was very disappointing. Lots of wax marks, liquid dripping out of crevices (that later dried with a film), smudges, and tar splotches. Customer service wasn't anything to get excited about so I definitely wouldn't go back.

Was going to buy auto detailing through an Amazon Local ad or Groupon for $99 until I called to see when they could get me in for service. Today is July 31st and they are just now scheduling appointments for the Farmington location for September 25th and 26th. Glad I called before I bought. Did not schedule appointment as I cannot wait almost two months for detailing!

They did a great job--my car was sparkling clean inside an out. The only thing I would like to see improvee is to have a better customer waiting room.

The car looks brand new and smells brand new.

The provider did an excellent and thorough job with the detailing and my car was returned in impeccable condition.

Please note that I used the location in Troy, Michigan, and once there I drove to my office with an employee of Carsmetology and then turned the car over to him.
they did an excellent job - people have smoked in this car and the detailing included cleaning out the air vents and shampooing carpeting and upholstery - the outside was buffed and clay barred and waxed - the plastic surfaces gleamed and the metal surfaces shone and the glass sparkled.

Detail description copied from their ad:
Our Technicians start off by degreasing the exterior and freeing it of any road grime or insects. Afterwards they do a Clay Baring treatment to the entire painted surface of the vehicle to remove any unseen road fallout thus cleaning out the paint and readying it for wax. They also clean the rims and tires, door and trunk jams and the engine receives a thorough degreasing. They then move onto the interior of the vehicle and scrub and extract the carpets and upholstery and clean the dash, doors, and consoles using a tiny toothbrush shaped brush. The windows and headliner also get cleaned in this step. Finally they apply a two step Carnauba cleaner / polisher to the paint with a dual action buffer, then dress the tires and engine bay leaving your car sparkling clean!
Results of the detail:
Door jams and windows were dirty, there was wax in the cracks, dressing under the hood was pooled in areas and areas were untouched by any cleaner or wax. It was explained where a buffer doesn't reach, it doesn't get done. They do no hand detailing, leaving a lot of areas untouched. They also claim the two step process of wax is a mistake on their site, so only expect one.
They addressed some of the items while we waited, but never apologized for the poor attention to detail. Seriously, I have used a number of different detailers, this is by far the worst. If you pay $199.00, you have paid too much. I've had equivalent-quality details for $69.99.

I was pleased with cleanliness of the car and the customer service prior to my issues. However, my engine required $400 worth of work after their detail. I was told by the dealership that the spark plugs were ruined due to a pressure washing treatment. After contacting Adam at Carsmetology he said this was not possible and only offered a free detail as compensation. If this was absolutely not the cause of my car issues, then why would you offer me a free detail? I explained to him that I would not like to take the free detail if this means that my car will require another $400 worth of work. There are many other places to get a car detailed in the area. I will not be returning to this company.

I dropped the van off at 3:30 and picked it up at about 8:30
Drop off and pick up couldn't have been easier.
The building is a little hard to find.
There is only a sign identifying the building complex. It is the first entrance immediately North of Sue's Landscape.
It is the building immediately south of the strip mall with Dream Cakes. (Which I also highly recommend)
