Steve was quick to respond to request for a quote. Had a few different price point options to go over. Then I was invited to their showroom to see the product I chose first hand. Quote was very detailed and all measurements accurate. Their office was accommodating when setting the three day installation timeframe. The crew that came out was great! Super friendly, efficient, quick, and kept the debris cleaned up. They did a fantastic job.

Consultation was very informative, several options were presented based on our wish list and budget considerations (not pushy or obnoxious). Crew worked quick, very clean, and responsive to my questions or concerns. For windows that were enlarged, the brick work was completed flawlessly, pieced together and blended in like the rest of the façade. When a few unexpected items came up, we were not charged additionally for them. We are very happy with the work and recommendations that were made during installation.

My feelings are mixed about my experience with Tailor-made. Fazzola was a nice enough sales rep and had decent follow up with the progress of my door and lead time. The installer was qualified and took the time to install the door that was aesthetically imperfect. The issues begin with the follow up - in communicating with TM, I knew that the paint and spotting on the door was in fact more of a manufacturers issue and not their direct fault. It took over 4 weeks for any response, contacting the manufacturer directly, and finally I had the scheduler Judy call to confirm an installer to come out and look at the issues. Once the installer stopped by, he did agree with my comments and requests for mends to the door - then crickets. That was 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard a thing from the company. Please note this door was installed in August!!! And I am still trying to fight for the proper product to be installed and settled. I do not need my hand help while working with vendors or contractors, however I do expect proper timing with response and communication from someone who gains my money for business. I will not be working with TM for any other door or window installs.

I toured the showroom and scheduled an appointment for Nov. 18, 2015. The salesman, Steve F., arrived promptly with looseleafs of pictures and info.  I had an idea of the color and style I wanted and Steve took plenty of time to explain the materials used and that the door, frame and side panel were custom created as one piece.  The anticipated time frame was 6 - 8 weeks.  It was a positive, friendly and informative experience working with Steve.
      The new doors were installed on Jan. 12, 2016 within the time frame promised.  It was a 20 degree, cloudy morning.  The installers, Jason and Patrick, arrived promptly at 9:45 am and worked continuously until they finished at 2:15 pm.  They were courteous, quiet and professional.  They cleanup was immaculate.  I had to turn my heat off and bundle up but that could not be avoided on a January morning.
       I have received many compliments on my new dark green doors and frame.  I will use this firm for any other doors I need.  The doors are airtight.  No more drafts at the bottom!  I did not comparison shop.  I feel I received excellent value for the price.

We were looking for Northstar windows that are made in Canda. We have these windows at our home up north and wanted them here. Fazzola came out and talked to us. Ran off estimates and window combinations. He very patient with us. They were installed 6 weeks later. The workers were on time and five to six hours later the windows were in. The next day they returned to work on outside trim, which was created on site. We are very pleased with quality. The clean up was excellent. Also, we are thinking about installing a front door and we will call Tailor Made.

The installation was great, they were on time and clean. I had to wait a few weeks for the doors to be made & painted so take that into consideration.

Started planning last summer:
 -Made appointment with Steve Fazolla for estimate. He arrived as arranged measured all windows and we discussed specific      needs..
-Estimate was returned in a timely manner and we decided on a June 2016 installation.
-Contacted Steve in spring, windows re-measured provided deposit ,windows ordered and tentative date for installation agreed upon
- June 11 installation crew headed by Pat arrives and windows installed  over two day period 
-A quality installation experience and everything went smoothly with a minimum of disruption,  The installers were meticulous in cleaning up after each window was installed. Very satisfied with the windows and how neatly and cleanly they fit.
-At completion Pat told me that he had noticed a pin hole in one of the screens and that they would order a replacement. I mention    this I might not have noticed that for a while if ever.

They're a family run business that's been around for 75 years. They did the work on a very cold winter day, and we're very impressed. They did a great job. Two guys did the work within a few hours, and we're so happy with it. We got the blinds inside of the glass for the door, and we love our new entry way. We plan on having them come out to work on our front door and a window in our living room.

Beautiful!  The replacement windows have no drafts, the trim work is excellent!  The new window installed through an existing wall is the bomb!  It looks like it is part of the design of the house.  You can't tell that work was done.  They were professional, clean and prompt.  They helped us with a leak under a sliding glass door and our side door that needed some attention.
We are very happy with the work that was done. 
The only issue was with the front door...we did not see a sample of the material before the door was installed and are a little disappointed in the finish. Steve came out within 2 days to see if there was something else we wanted to do about it,  but we are willing to live with it.

What a great experience all around!  From a Sales standpoint, Steve Fazzola is very knowledgeable and was quite helpful in discussing alternatives and planning the job.  The windows look great, especially the woodgrain finish on the kitchen windows, which will be a great feature in our new kitchen.  The installation went off without a hitch.  Pat and Jay are true craftsmen.  Their attention-to-detail was greatly appreciated.  For example, we have a flower box directly beneath the den window, and I thought for sure that the flowers would become a "casualty" of the window installation.  However, they took such great care during the installation that we didn't lose a petal.  Pat also took the time to go over the window features with us, including suggestions for cleaning and maintaining the windows.  We took advantage of the special offer on blown-in installation as well.  So, we're fully prepared for what is anticipated to be another tough Michigan winter.
Everyone we dealt with at Tailor Made -- from sales to installation -- couldn't have been more helpful, courteous and polite.  What a refreshingly pleasant all-around experience.  I would gladly recommend Tailor Made to family, friends and Angie's List members looking to replace their windows or doors!

They were right on time.  Did a very nice job and cleaned up after.  No issues at all.

I was impressed by the fact that their installers were not contractors and that they customize the interior frame to match the windows. This was important since I was moving from wood to vinyl reinforced windows and did not want to detract from the interior look.  Additionally, my research shows that the installer qualification is critical to a good outcome
The product has been in place now for a month and I have no issues whatsoever and I am totally satisfied.  I would highly recommend the company

They said they baffled all the vents and then sprayed in another 12 inches of cellulose insulation. They were very friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. They were kind enough to pull their hose around to back of house so my side door did not have to.be left open. That helped a lot as I have two dogs in the.house who would definitely run. Good company to work with.

Salesperson, Steve: No high pressure, knowledgeable, easy to work with.  Helped me make some creative decisions to decrease cost. Happy he encouraged me to get tan exteriors, instead of white. Once installation was done, immediately realized white would have looked terrible on my home.



Installers, Pat, Jeff and Jay: Professional and friendly.  They were in my home for two days and  efficiently and non-intrusively removed old windows and installed new.  They took time to explain what they were doing and then showed me how to use the windows.  Great teamwork.  Nice guys.



My only concern was that I was surprised to see a corner of each window had some etching with "Tailor Made" name and warranty number.  On all but one window, it was hidden by curtains, or not readily apparent.  The window in question--each time I walked in the room, it looked like a "smudge" in the corner--annoying.  Tailor Made agreed to put in a new glass, with the etching on opposite side of window, where curtain will cover it (new glass was ordered, this week).  Jim, who came out to do measuring, was professional and friendly, and answered some questions I had about windows.



Not one person in this company ever bad-mouthed another company.  This was not the case with other companies I interviewed.  Everyone was professional and personable, making it very easy to ask questions and understand what was being done. There seems to be a good work ethic with everyone.  I also like that Tailor Made does not simply replace windows, they remove old windows, to the studs, to ensure exact fit, no wood rot, etc. 



My windows look great!  The house is quieter, brighter and warmer.  Very happy I chose Tailor Made.
