They did a beautiful job. I have never been so happy with work done on my house. This is a family run company who doesn't use subcontractors and they take alot of pride in their work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs something done on their house or business. Clean up was good. They remove everything and take it in their truck so you don't have an ugly dumpster taking up your driveway for four days. 

We have used Sparks and Sommers for the past eight years on various projects.  Our success with them was the key to their selection for this more significant project.  They were very reachable, very affordable and promptly addressed some things that came up during the remodeling and some changes in direction on our part.  They had an office fire early in the project which impacted our ability to square away paperwork for energy credits and such, but our past experience with them and the extenuating circumstances of the fire were taken into consideration for our rating.

He did an okay job. The job wasn't finished and I had to contract it out with somebody else who is going to finish it for me. I paid for the part he did and he was supposed to be doing some brick work too and it's been several months so I decided to contract it with somebody else. It looks really good. It's not 100% but it looks better than what I had. He couldn't get it done because his son is apparently a union worker and he doesn't know when he can get the time off and I would just have to wait. It also for having stone work done, resurfacing the front of my entrance way from the front of my garage and the entrance way to the side of the house. They actually took the brick off of the garage and left it exposed for a long time. He wasn't the worst but he wasn't the best, he's just in the middle. His price was fair for what he did so far.

I am so glad we had it done. Our home is so much warmer, and soon, it will be so much cooler (our upstairs rooms used to get so hot in the summer). Sparks and Sommers was great all around. Punctual, friendly, professional, and they did all paperwork to receive a rebate from our gas company. Thank You Sparks and Sommers!

Great.

Because the garage siding color was no longer available, what should have been a job requiring only a few pieces of siding looked like it'd require completely re-siding at least one whole elevation of the garage structure. Since the damage occurred on the rear elevation, paying several hundred dollars to re-side the whole exposure didn't make sense. Instead, they were able to remove siding from the front of the garage and I had vinyl shake siding used to replace it. This actually made the garage look better and addressed the storm damage. The roof was repaired with OSB and some shingles. I had white vinyl soffit, aluminum trim and aluminum seamless gutters installed on my house. Both the gutters and trim look much better than both of my adjacent neighbor's houses (not that it's a competition), so that should say something about the quality of the siding installation and gutter work. They sub-contract the seamless gutters and I did have to have the gutter contractor out two additional times to address issues that weren't addressed properly the first time due to communication problems. The gutter contractor also, for some reason, added a gutter and down spout to my house in an area that I really did not want one. In the end all my concerns were addressed. I would absolutely use these guys again. Great family business. We need more companies like this today.

We were very pleased with Sparks and Sommers. They are professional as well as personable. They listen to what you want and give advice when asked. Their prices are reasonable.

Sparks and Sommers Home Improvement are excellent. I used them another time to install some siding on my home. They're very professional and excellent. They cleaned up their mess and was on time. I was very impressed with their work. We had gotten three estimates and we ended up going with them. We liked what we saw from them so we chose them to work with.

They did and excellent job. I am going to have them back to do some more work for me. I was very satisfied with the quality of work that they did. They will also work with me on price if I allow them to do multiple jobs at one time.

They did a wonderful job. I've seen an improvement in my bill. They were wonderful. They cleaned up after themselves. They were in and out and that was it. I went with them because of the recommendation of a friend of mine who use to work for them. They went over everything with me before they did the job. They took care of the tax credits for me too.

The price was competitive and the performance was good and I was surprised at the level of supervision. They were very well organized. They did a little gutter repair for me which was a part of the job. They also did insulation for me. I am benefiting from that now in the cold weather. They were a little slow in some areas but they were right there.

I was in a hurry to get this house done so I had 3 Angie's List contractors come out. I had an appointment that day and explained that to each over the phone. I also explained to each that I just wanted basic plain nothing fancy, standard vinyl siding and the main motivating factor for me was price. The other people who came wanted to sell me on and quot;betterand quot; siding and for me on this job again my only interest was price for standard siding. He saw I was in a hurry, took a look around, and sent me the bid in the mail. He was even with 1 other for lowest bid. But they are a professional company who have been in the neighborhood for years. They had other products that would last longer, and are capable of preforming more elaborate work but he listened to what I was saying to meet my needs and didn't waste my time trying to sell me something I know I didn't want.

I was concerned at one point about some vents that where being covered up and the crew leader took the time to explain why it was no longer necessary. He double checked with the city to make sure it was up to code. We use a house fan a lot in the summer and I wanted to make sure that air flow wouldn't be compromised. With the soffet vents and ridge vent on my roof the air flow is just fine.

The entire crew was professional and the job was completed on time as promised. I will definitely use them again.

I was pleased with the price. They were flexible on scheduling. They worked on weekends. The quality of their work was good. They were really good to work with.

I've hired them before and just like before they did a tremendous job. They are on time, efficient, neat, polite and there were no bumps in the road at all. In fact, one of the windows has a hairline crack in the vinyl which I honestly doubt I would have noticed but they did and they have re-ordered a new window for me.

Terrific job. Very easy to work with, professional job and complete tidying afterwards. Would definitely recommend them and hire them again.

They did a very professional job. About a week after the roof was installed, we had a ferocious wind storm that tore off a piece of flashing. I contacted Sand S in the first part of the week, and by the end of the week, the problem was fixed.
