We have a 100-year-old duplex that has been used as a rental since it was built. We hired Smith's to repair and refinish the lower unit. The floors had many stain's and water damage under the windows. They did a great job! The floors look almost brand new and you cannot tell where they had to replace wood due to the water damage. The process they used was almost dust free. The workers were diligent and friendly. I was working in the kitchen one time when they were finishing the floors. I had forgotten to bring a certain size drill bit. I asked to borrow one and the worker was as nice as can be. He didn't act like I was a hinderance to his work and went out to his truck to find just the bit I needed. I will defiantly use this company again when I do the floors in the second unit!

It went great!!! The company did a phenomenal job on the floors.The guys that worked on my floor, Jordan, Aron, Sam, and one of the partners, Jon, were professional and worked diligently to complete my floors. They advised me all along the way from the first day of sanding to the last day when they applied the last coat of stain. The floors look beautiful. I can't even describe how happy I am with the outcome. My only regret is I didn't hire SMH LLC first, could have avoided all my heartache and stress from the first company's disaster. I can't thank Joe, Jon and all the guys enough. I was so excited when I saw the final floors, I was speechless and almost cried when I saw my floors. I can't find the words to describe how happy I am with my floors and with SMH LLC.

Joe is an artist and a master craftsman! His work is outstanding, as is his customer service. From the first phone call to the final finish, Joe and his staff have been professional, prompt, courteous, clean and responsive. Joe had to blend new hardwood with existing hardwood floors at our house, and you cannot tell where the old floors end and the new begin. Joe was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we highly recommend Smith's Harwood and Construction!

The finished product was absolutely beautiful. This is a first rate company who performed above and beyond when a couple of unexpected issues presented. Joe knows their product well and all questions were answered. We had a tight timeframe for the project for which they responded quickly and had us scheduled within a few days. It was effortless dealing with them and they did a fantastic job. The crew was polite, skillful, and cleaned up the site each day. We will definitely recommend them to our friends! It is so nice to find a company that strives to create long term relationships with their customers by providing great service and a quality finished product.
