They are very responsive. They are there when they say they are going to come; if they say they are going to come at 8:00 they are there at 8:00. They knew what they were doing. They were very helpful to me picking out stuff and the overall job was just gorgeous.

Bill gave me an estimate for the work.  He researched designs I expressed interest in and helped me select them.  He ordered the mirror, with matching cabinet and a specialty vanity making sure it would be accommodated in the small room.  I had seen a designer glass bowl that I wanted and he found where to obtain it and got it for me at a discount.  I found the perfect faucet set but the company would not sell it to me.  Still, Bill worked out something with the dealer and bought it.  Cost me less than advertised! His workmen tore down the old materials and cleaned the tile, then re-grouted.  After they installed  the sink, mirror and cabinet, I decided the cabinet was too large and Bill ordered me the smaller size.  When it came in the workers came back to the house and moved the first cabinet to another spot and installed the new one at no additional charge.  After the installation the workmen returned to my home to remove everything from the walls so I could wallpaper and then reinstalled.  Again, no additional charges. I have had Eastside do several other small improvements with great success and satisfaction.  I would not hesitate to use this business in the future.  Bill does his utmost to please his customers at a fair and reasonable cost.

I could have worked with someone for a lesser price.  But I had a bathroom put in by somebody and the whole job was messed up.  I had to get someone to finish that work.  I went to his showroom.  He had all main brand appliances and his prices were good.

Well..... I agree Bill is a very nice and pleasant man, the workers were prompt and neat. My problem is the design/install. The microwave above the stove is way to close to the top of the stove....if I'm using a large pot the lid always hits the bottom of the microwave. We paid for soft 8 soft close drawers, 3 soft close 5 don't , to his credit he did have his guys come out a couple of times to try and fix the problem, they still don't soft close. After several attempts we just gave up! The biggest problem is the quality of the cabinets we were told that they were WOOD....well they are NOT!!..... It's particle board or something..  The glaze/stain is coming off...! Oh lest we forget......the under mount sink fell in on October 19, 2013, called Bill he said in all his 20 something years he had never heard of this happening, well it happened to us! Bill had us contact GRANIT & MARBLE DEPOT, INC. IN SHELBY TWP, MI. (the company who installed the sink and granite)....They also said this has never happened.  Well, they came out and fixed the sink....this time it appears they did it correct because they put a BRACE in place!! And yes there was a 200 charge! Bill did split the difference with us. ALL- IN -ALL WE ARE NOT PLEASED WITH THE CABINETS OR THE POSITION OF THE MICROWAVE. IN FAIRNESS TO BILL, WE DID NOT SPEAK TO HIM ABOUT THE STAIMN COMING OFF OR THE MICROWAVE BEING TO CLOSE TO THE STOVE .......BECAUSE WE REALLY FELT HE WOULD'NT DO ANTHING ABOUT THE STAIN BECAUSE HE DID'NT MANUFACTURE THE CABINETS (BUT HE IS SELLING THEM)  OR THE MICROWAVE PROBLEM (IT'S ALREADY INSTALLED UNDER THE CABINETS.....NOTHING CAN BE DONE AT THIS POINT!)WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF LOOKING FOR A CONTRACTOR TO REMODEL ONE OF OUR BATHROOMS AND CAME TO ANGIE'S LIST HOPING TO GET CONTRACTORS , AND LOW AND BEHOLD EASTSIDE KITCHEN AND BATH WAS ON THE LIST ......SO I HAD TO WRITE A REVIEW. BILL, YOU CAN COME BY ANY TIME TO SEE THE CABINETS, DRAWERS AND MICROWAVE......WE A 2 MINUTES FROM EASTSIDE KITCHEN AND BATH! WE WOULD LOVE FOR BILL TO COME BY!

I'm pleased, refreshed, and content with the whole bathroom remodel experience Eastside Kitchen and Bath, provided.Bill (the owner),is a sincere, pleasant guy, never tried to sell me on anything that I wasn't interested in.He's creative, and  has a real knack for "reading minds",he was able to bring our ideas of what we envisioned for the bathroom,to life. Stanley, and the guy's are hard workers, meticulous, detailed oriented, their wonderful craftsmanship really shows off  pride in their work. Punctual,friendly,tidy,...etc. My bathroom is now beautiful, refreshing, serene, tranquil, all the makings of an uplifting way to begin or end the day.

Bill really took the time to walk us through the entire process. After the first visit to the house we had about three different meetings at his business over the course of a month to discuss materials, colors, and overall design. During this time we contacted or met with three other companies to get a good comparison of those materials and services for the job. Once we decided to go with Eastside we made a deposit and then waited approximately four weeks for the work to begin.
On the day work began the crew was prompt and on time. Each day they would lay down drop cloths through traffic areas between the bathroom and other work locations. At the end of each day they would clean up the work areas and review everything that was done that day. Stanley led the crew and completed most of the difficult work to include the tile and design. He is great craftsman and the tile layout and flow through the bathroom turned out better than expected.
Bill was always in contact with us while the work was being completed. There was one instance where the work differed from our agreed upon design. We asked for a tiled ceiling in the shower area but it wasn't initially completed. In that case Bill discussed it with the crew and completed the work the next day. On a big project I expect there to be some communication problems like this but what's important is how it handled after the problem arises. Bill did an outstanding job ensuring that our expectations were met.
Once the work was substantially complete Bill walked through everything with us. We had a list of three or four minor things that needed some follow up. Those items were handled very quickly a couple days after the walk through.
Overall, I would feel very comfortable working with Eastside again.

After researching Angie's List  we decided to call Eastside Kitchen and Bath.  The call was prompted after the excellent reviews from Angie's List.  The company was close to our home.  I contacted the owner Bill Cords and made an appointment to meet him at our home the next day.  Bill came and did some measuring.  We discussed with him what we wanted to do and he assured us that he could do it.  His pleasant and confident manner gave us assurance that he could do the job.  Knowing what our plans were we scheduled a meeting at Bill's showroom three days later.  When we arrived he provide us with a project estimate and drawing of what he planned to do.  This meeting was very pleasant and in the course of our conversation we found out that he had done work for many people that we knew.  He had samples of all types of countertop materials, tiles for the backsplashes and how he would remove the existing built in appliances by raising the  countertops and trimming a cabinet to allow for the installation of a new refrigerator.  Since it was also our plan to replace all the existing appliances he referred us to a person that he knew where we could purchase the new appliances at a good price.

The original estimate included quartz counter tops.  We revised that by having granite a a cost savings.  Also included in the estimate was removal and taking away the old appliances and a discount for using Angie's List.  At our first meeting he also provided us with a folder of the persons who would be assigned to do the work on our job, a list of previous customers - many of whom we knew - and a proposed work schedule.  We also picked out the type of granite that we wanted, the backsplash materials and hardware for the cabinets.  Bill was very helpful in assisting us with our choices.. He had an answer for every question that we had.  We signed a contract that day and made a down payment.  Bill felt that the job could be completed in approximately one week, but from previous experience we knew that it would probably take a little longer because the July 4 holiday was right in the middle of the projected time frame for the job.

The job began on June 28 as planned with the removal of the counter tops and existing sink.  We were without water and the dishwasher in the kitchen but still had the use of our other appliances.  Stanley and Wojchek were assigned to our job.  They were wonderful and precise craftsmen.  The were hardworking, pleasant and prompt.  Stanley was a real perfectionist in all that he did.  This was great for us in assuring that a good job would be done.  Because of July 4 the granite company could not provide the countertops in the time that was originally planned.  Also there was a small glitch in the granite installment that required an adjustment with again a small delay.  The project was finally completed on July 12.  Bill continually was available throughout the job for advice and assistance.

We are very pleased with the job and would highly recommend Eastside Kitchen and Bath.  We felt it was an excellent experience from start to finish.

I made an after hours call about a leak, and they were at my home within the hour. The problem was identified and rectified within a very short period of time. During the repair visit we determined that he had done other work in my home but that I didn't recognize him as the one that had done the equipment installation. I mention this simply because the equipment installation, a hot water recycling system, has always worked and has also not once had a maintenance issue. He was quick, courteous, got the job done, and did so for a reasonable cost. I will definitely use him again.

Bill is a very nice guy and Denise works hard. But I had a number of issues. First, if you have a Roseville or Eastpoint home, I would recommend them for a vanilla job that would be adequate. But if you have an expensive Birmingham or Grosse Point home, and you want some experience and imagination, forget it. I have a 1,550 sq ft ranch home that I was remodeling the kitchen, 1st floor bathroom and a new basement bathroom. I contracted Eastside for two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. They started the upstairs about two weeks before Thanksgiving (a complete tearout) They were supposed to be done in three weeks. It was not completed until sometime in January. They started on the upstairs and then went to work on the downstairs. I finally told them that I would lock them out if they didn't devote full attention to the upstairs. The cabinets were to be put in at counter top height. However the floor was not level and one end of the cabinets were way too high for us (we are short - they are tall) They had to redo that. The tile design was way too high on one side of the window - looked ok on the drawing, but in reality, it had to be taken out an redone at a lower level. The shower soap cubby looked ok too, until it was ready to be installed - on the outside wall. No insulation could be put in, so rather than have a cold spot, that was eliminated. It was too late to place it on the side wall where it should have been. This remodel involved removing the tub and putting in a shower stall with a built in seat. I went downstairs after taking a nice long hot shower. My basement was leaking! No, they had forgotten to seal the tile between the seat and the wall. If this was a second floor shower, the damage would have been horrendous. As it was, due to the remodel, my basement tiles had been removed and there waa no damage. Then there was the *&^% toilet. I ordered the best Kohler "Katherine" one piece toilet. It stopped up constantly. They could not help me. I called Bob Dube Plumbing. He put in a Kohler toilet that has never stopped up. $1,300 shot. He also installed a Toto toilet in the basement bathroom after the Eastside people couldn't. I gave the toilet to my son. Now the mirror. It was supposed to have a electric outlet floating in the bottom center between the sinks. They could never get it right. After three triec, I finally called Sandy Rabaut and had her design the mirror. She is a fantastic designer. She did the back splash in my kitchen. You will get top quality, and pay through the nose, but it will be worth it. The mirror and frame looked fantastic I thought the grout work was marginal, but my son said that it made it look spa-like. OK concede that one (grumble). Then I had to call several times to get them to come and put sealer on the tile. That is supposed to be a given. The job was finally done. So, in conclusion, these are hard working people. They will spend a lot of time with you. They will do just fine in most homes. But, if you want a top bathroom with imaginative design and top craftsmanship for which you are willing to pay much more for, go elsewhere.

I found Eastside Kitchen & Bath on Angie's List, contacted Bill and talked to him about the job. He came out and took measurements. He and Denise laid out a complete kitchen utilizing floor space with the addition of more cabinet space and a dishwasher on a computer format. The kitchen came out exactly like the picture. The work crew came every day on time and cleaned the area daily. There was no hidden cost during construction, the price that was agreed to at acceptance, was the price at the completion of the job. We are very happy with our new and updated kitchen, We recommend Eastside Kitchen & Bath to everyone who asked about our kitchen.

Bill and his associates are very easy to work with, from design help to finished product. The project started on time and finished on time. The workers were professional, did nice work and respected our home. They cleaned up after themselves everyday, which is greatly appreciated. We had a previous poor experience when remodeling our kitchen, and this was a very pleasant experience. They do nice work, what you expect for the money.

Went very well. Bill returned all of our calls quickly. He came out to view the existing bathroom and made suggestions for a new layout. He provided drawings of multiple designs which we viewed in the showroom. The showroom had many cabinet styles and finishes to choose from. His pricing is very competitive. They completed on the job on time, good quality and no mess!
